    A brilliant decision to go for the try. If it doesn't work, people criticise you, and I think 14-11 would have been a decent first half for Glasgow, given how things went. It's been scrappy, both teams have made errors, which you would expect considering the ferocity of the game.

    Glasgow turn down the chance for three points, and it pays off! They recycle the ball again and again, and eventually Ulster's defence is breached. Johnny Matthews forces his way over from a couple of yards out.

    Ross Thompson kicks the conversion; Glasgow lead for the first time as we go into the break.

    New season, same tactic. The rolling maul is something Ulster did better than anyone last year, and it held up pretty well regardless of the player turnover, so a doff of the cap to forwards coach Roddy Grant.

    Bradley Roberts has struggled with his line-out throwing on his first competitive start, so he'll feel a bit better after that.

    Glasgow have had some much needed possession and territory as they look to settle into this game. They have the feed at a scrum after Ulster kicked the ball dead. A good time for everyone to take a breath.

    Double punishment for Glasgow. Pressure builds from the initial penalty, and as Ulster spread the play, Cole Forbes deliberately knocks on with men queuing up out wide. It results in a penalty try and 10 minutes in the sinbin for Glasgow's fullback.
