  1. 'There's no better feeling'published at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    FT: Scotland 15-13 Australia

Scotland captain Stuart Hogg was positively beaming as he spoke post-match. "That was brilliant, I loved it", he tells Amazon Prime.

"How good was it to have a full Murrayfield? For me, there's no better feeling than winning here. I said to the boys that the job's only half done. We're two games in with two wins, and it's about backing it up next week."

[On the set-piece]: "We back the boys up front to do their job, they gave us a great platform. The exciting thing is that we can get better both at set-piece and in open play."

  2. South Africa next up at Murrayfieldpublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    FT: Scotland 15-13 Australia

Time to wind down now. Scotland need to go again at Murrayfield in six days and next up are South Africa, the world champions.

We'll have more text updates from that one.

Meanwhile, I'll leave you with the words of a happy captain...

  3. 'Victory for the fans'published at 16:41 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    FT: Scotland 15-13 Australia

Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend tells Amazon Prime: "In the coaching box, we were a bit emotional at the end.

"To get this victory was for the fans. It wasn't the best of games, but the resolve the players showed and the impact the bench made was tremendous. At half-time we knew we hadn't played our best rugby, but there was a fire about us in that second half which was great to see, and there was an edge to our set-piece."

  4. Nice send-off for Poitepublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    FT: Scotland 15-13 Australia

A word for referee Romain Poite, who was overseeing his last ever Test match.

The players formed a guard of honour for the Frenchman at the end there and he hid his face with the ball, perhaps not wanting to blub on the telly.

  5. Scotland get over the linepublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    FT: Scotland 15-13 Australia

Here are the full-time stats, but it's not really a day to dwell on those, is it? With both sides not quite on it, this was all about heart and dig in defence.

  6. 'A really special day'published at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    FT: Scotland 15-13 Australia

Man of the match Hamish Watson could barely hear the questions posed to him amid the din, but had this to say to Amazon Prime: "To have 67,000 back at Murrayfield is absolutely amazing. We've waited a long time for this, a really special day."

"We had to dig deep, Australia are a class side, the in-form team in world rugby, so we knew we'd have to work really hard. Something special is building here! It was a nervy last 10 minutes on the bench, but the fans got us through."

It's been a long time since Murrayfield was last full like this - more than 20 months - and the crowd are lapping up that win, giving the Scotland team a rapturous round of applause.

There will be a lot of tired legs and aching arms in the home dressing room. A lot of smiles too.

    Andy Burke
BBC Scotland rugby reporter at Murrayfield

It's said that autumn Tests represent peace time rugby compared to the war that is the Six Nations. Try telling that to the thousands of fans here at Murrayfield who are willing their team onto victory (they hope).

These last five minutes are a huge test of this Scotland team's mettle. Just what are they made of?

Two points in it as the clock ticks down. Scotland definitely have the edge in terms of momentum but it's anyone's game at this late stage.

'Nothing daft' has to be the message...
