Some shady clearing out on Matt Fagerson.

Yellow card for Allan Alaalatoa, who caught the Scotland number eight on the face with a swinging arm.

A bit harsh that one. Letter of the law and all that...

    Scotland 7-0 Australia

    Andy Burke
BBC Scotland rugby reporter at Murrayfield

When Scotland famously beat Australia in Syndey in the summer of 2017, Hamish Watson finished off an incredible team move to score one of the great Scotland tries.

This one was a lot more routine, but it could be every bit as important. It's not the free-flowing, high-scoring affair we expected - not yet at least - so edging in front could be crucial for Scotland.

  17. 'Hogg electrifies Murrayfield'published at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2021

    Scotland 0-0 Australia

    Andy Burke
BBC Scotland rugby reporter at Murrayfield

The stop-start nature of the opening stages has sucked much of the life out of the atmosphere, but that break from Stuart Hogg brought the crowd back to life.

Both sides just a little off it at the moment in their execution, but both will feel if they can make that final pass stick there are openings to be exploited.
