    Fifty up! England's kicking game gives them another try, Henry Slade kicks it through, a kind bounce sells the last Japan defender and before Slade can gather it in Marcus Smith appears to take it in.

    Warner Dearns is held up right on the try line, Japan have to come all the way out to go back in, they kick it in behind and Owen Farrell is alert to field it for England.

    Japan on the scoreboard! England stop as Warner Dearns breaks a tackle and charges through a gap, there's no knock-on and he finds replacement Naoto Saito for a walk in under the posts.

    Seungsin Lee adds the conversion too.

    Great score! Good rugby from England, they come out wide, Freddie Steward is held up but England keep the ball coming quickly, Jack van Poortvliet feeds prop Ellis Genge five metres out and he takes three Japan players with him to score under the posts!

    Great hands from scrum-half Jack van Poortvliet, who has done his case for a regular starting role no harm at all. England soar out wide, Freddie Steward again eats up some metres but he's held up. England work it patiently out to the right and eventually earn a penalty.
