    HT: Harlequins 24-22 Sharks

46 points in one half - just trying to have a breather before hopefully another 46 points.

Both sides will need to look after the ball better, no doubt the attacking talent on show is incredible but defence wins titles as they say!

  2. Saints trailing La Rochelle at half-timepublished at 13:56 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

Half-time at Franklin's Gardens and Heineken Cup holders La Rochelle lead Northampton 7-3 in a tight contest, with Fijian flanker Levani Botia scoring the only try of the game so far.

The French side are bidding to clinch a fourth group win and top spot in Pool B.

The Saints cannot progress to the last 16 and are looking for a first win in this year's tournament.

    Harlequins 24-22 Sharks

What a half of rugby and it is hard to know where to start. The Sharks started and ended the half strong with Harlequins having their purple patch in the middle.

Overall both sides will fancy their chances.

    Eben Etzebeth

Danny Care was about to send a box kick up the line but Eben Etzebeth runs around the ruck and pinches the ball before racing clear. The referee is surrounded by the Quins players but they are told the ball was out of the ruck.

A huge moment right on half-time. Touch and go that one!

    Curwin Bosch kicks the conversion.

    Harlequins 24-15

Two superb Will Evans turnovers helps to regain possession for Quins. This game is unstructured to say the least. Loads of turnovers and running rugby!

  7. Penalty - Harlequins 24-15 Sharkspublished at 30 minutes

    Marcus Smith

Once again Marcus Smith makes no mistake from the tee. Again one you would expect to nail but well-stuck - he is looking very confident.

    Harlequins 21-8 Sharks

Sharks will be worried about how easy Harlequins are breaking their line, every attack so far has nearly resulted in a line break.

Problems even now at scrum time which is very rare for a big South African pack.

He has brought his kicking boots today. On the angle but no problem for Marcus Smith.

Try - Harlequins 19-8 Sharkspublished at 18 minutes

    Cadan Murley

The man of the moment is over in the corner.

After being named in Steve Borthwick's England squad Cadan Murley is in the form of his career. This try is a simple one however as sharp hands from the backs leads to a straightforward 2v1 and Nick David puts Murley in for another try.

    Alex Dombrandt

A mad start in this one as Marcus Smith's delayed pass is able to open up a gap for Nick David who feeds his captain Alex Dombrandt who dots down.

Two quick tries is the perfect response from Quins. Marcus Smith adds the conversion.

    An instant response for Quins.

An old school show and go from the scrum-half as he gets through the tackle of Siya Kolisi.

    Lukhanyo Am

    That was quick!

A lovely delicate chip from Aphelele Fassi is gathered by Thaakir Abrahams who pops the ball back inside to Lukhanyo Am who runs in untouched.

Simply brilliant - Curwin Bosch can't add the extras.
