  • Bath boost hopes of progress to knockout rounds

  1. Goodnightpublished at 22:10 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2023

    FT: Glasgow 19-19 Bath

That's all from me on the live text tonight, but the radio guys are still dissecting that game.

Be sure to tune in if you're not already!

  2. 'Not good enough' - Smithpublished at 22:07 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2023

    FT: Glasgow 19-19 Bath

Glasgow head coach Franco Smith on Viaplay: "Frustrating is the word that comes to mind. We were inaccurate, and I felt it was unacceptable from that point of view.

"Not good enough tonight. A lot of things that just didn't work out.

"We've qualified and have a home tie. The fact that we're disappointed after a draw is where we're at, which is a positive.

"Hats off to Bath - they stuck at it, took points when they were there, and we let them back in.

"It's good lessons learned tonight. Sometimes you lose that detail and intent when you're on a winning streak. We want to get that back next week."

Glasgow are way better than that. They gave themselves a platform after 20 minutes, and Bath didn't have any attacking intent.

On a better day, Glasgow would have put them to sleep inside an hour, but Bath hung about and earned a draw.

The Warriors only have themselves to blame.

  4. Player of the Matchpublished at 21:56 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2023

    FT: Glasgow 19-19 Bath

Glasgow centre Sione Tuipulotu has been named Player of the Match, but cuts a disgruntled figure.

"I'm not too pleased to be honest," he said on Viaplay. "We were no good tonight and didn't deserve to win. We didn't hold on to the ball enough.

"We get to go again in front of the home crowd, but hopefully we put in a better performance."

One thing that result does is guarantee Glasgow a home tie in the last 16 of the Challenge Cup.

One positive to take away, I suppose.

Wee Duncan Weir gets over the ball after Jonathan Joseph took contact, and wins a penalty.

    Brilliant work from Glasgow's fly-half.

Weir will kick at goal here. There was the option to kick for the corner and try to secure a bonus point try, but there will be a kick to win it...

I've given up trying to judge what's happening at scrum time.

Glasgow look to be the side winning the forward battle, but the decision goes Bath's way.

It's all so rushed and scrappy at the moment.

It just needs someone to grab the game by the scruff of the neck, calm things down, and execute strengths.
