    Stormers v Connacht (15:00)

Ulster were most people's favourites to win last Friday night's United Rugby Championship quarter final in Belfast - but Connacht had other ideas.

Andy Friend's side made the most of a sloppy display by their hosts and then held off their late rally for a memorable win.

Jack Carty's boot did all the damage for the visitors - read more details here.

  2. Team news - holders without South Africa pairpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 13 May 2023

    Stormers v Connacht (15:00)

Connacht boss Andy Friend has named an unchanged side from the one that beat Ulster in last week's quarter-final at Kingspan.

That means Ireland internationals Bundee Aki and Mack Hansen line up once again having returned from injury for the Belfast encounter.

The Stormers, meanwhile, are without injured South Africa international forwards Deon Fourie and Marvin Orie.

    Not long now until kick-off.

  3. A super Saturday semi-final doublepublished at 14:44 British Summer Time 13 May 2023

    Stormers v Connacht & Leinster v Munster

Have you heard the one about three Irish teams and one South African team?

The United Rugby Championship season is down to the last-four stage and we have a super Saturday double header of semi-finals to look forward to.

Up first, kicking off at 15:00 BST we have Connacht, fresh from their somewhat surprise victory away to Ulster last Friday night, taking on the Stormers at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town.

The South African side are the trophy holders, having defeated the Bulls in last year's decider, and will probably be expected to make the most of home advantage by getting through to another final.

We'll have time for a quick break and then there is the small matter of a tantalising Irish derby to look forward to as Leinster host Munster at the Aviva in the second semi-final at 17:30 BST.

Leinster have a European final to play next weekend, of course, and Munster might feel that opens the door to their chances of victory.

It's sure to be an exciting day and early evening of rugby - we have you recovered with live text commentary of both games, with a match report to follow.
