On Sam Whitelock becoming the most-capped All Black of all time: "Individually it is a great achievement and to stand alone at the top for appearances is pretty special. Sam is a warrior and he continues to do that for us.

"We saw the impact they brought to the team. It is about building momentum in this World Cup."

"We gifted them a few tries which is disappointing. We have to chuck it in the bin and go again next week.

"We have to stick together, we have another chance and we have to prepare well. Sometimes it is not your day, but we have to stick together.
"It did not go our way, sometimes you have to focus on your basics and we did not perform in the scrums or line-outs. It is a big lesson for us, but we have to keep moving on and step up and stay together."

That win takes New Zealand above Italy into second, with unbeaten hosts France still leading the way.
The All Blacks will be huge favourites to beat Uruguay in their final pool game, while Italy will have to beat France to reach the last eight.

What a performance from the All Blacks, it has been a supremely confident running performance with the ball.
They did not have to do too much tackling as they were gifted the ball, especially with the line-outs. Italy broke down tonight, their calls and handling was not right.
New Zealand knew when they had a line-out against them they had a big chance of getting it off Italy.
Paolo Garbisi's conversion is the last act of the game.
New Zealand have blown Italy away and sent out a message to the rest of the runners and riders.
