    FT: New Zealand 96-17 Italy

More from All Blacks captain Ardie Savea on BBC Radio 5 Live: "We wanted to come out and make a statement. We really wanted to dominate up front, our forwards hit the platform and our backs finished them off.

"It was really good tonight, but we slipped at the end and let them in, so we are never satisfied and never comfortable. There are little areas to get better."

On pressure of the game: "It was a final for us, a do or die game and we want to get better every week. There is a short turnaround and we lay our standards high, so we are looking forward to that."

"We gifted them a few tries which is disappointing. We have to chuck it in the bin and go again next week.

"We have got to get the set-plays right, we have got to look at the whole game, but we might not even review it and chuck it in the bin."

What a performance from the All Blacks, it has been a supremely confident running performance with the ball.

They did not have to do too much tackling as they were gifted the ball, especially with the line-outs. Italy broke down tonight, their calls and handling was not right.

New Zealand knew when they had a line-out against them they had a big chance of getting it off Italy.
