South Africa look shell-shocked, England look on the rampage.
England 3-0 South Africa
England getting all the calls early on as South Africa err at a line-out again. This is a scrum in a very dangerous position, no more than 15m from the line.
England 3-0 South Africa
Duane Vermuelen leaves a man in a heap coming out of the base of the scrum but when South Africa put a kick up again, Freddie Steward claims really well. England are competing well under the high ball as Alex Mitchell puts a great kick out of play down in the South Africa 22.
England 3-0 South Africa
England put up a spiral kick out wide, Jonny May is up high but can't gather it cleanly. That's the tactic though as Swing Low booms out...

South Africa are going to target Owen Farrell tonight. Run down his channel, unsettle him and cause division within the English ranks.

Owen Farrell
Great start for England. It was a regulation kick but Owen Farrell has points on the board straight away.

It was a kick-fest to start, but I would say that is a close call - Pieter-Steph du Toit was all over it.
England 0-0 South Africa
England compete well and win a penalty straight away! Franco Mostert infringes at the breakdown.
Owen Farrell will go for three.

A reminder that we had six tries in the first half an hour last week as South Africa edged France. It was epic.

Hang on.
The real pantomime villain is still to come.
Referee Ben O'Keeffe, who oversaw France's quarter-final defeat to the Boks and was criticised afterwards by golden boy Antoine Dupont, is jeered to the rafters.
That's what you call a jacket.

The general sense from the French public was that, given the way that the Springboks pooped their party and England are perennial rivals, they would like both teams to lose.
The England team has been read out to a muted response, except for Owen Farrell who gets the jeers cascading down from the stands.
But the whole South Africa team gets the bird from the locals in the stands - particularly Eben Etzebeth and Faf de Klerk.
It sounds like, for once, England might be the French fans' pick.
Allez les blancs!
