  1. Half-time - England 8-3 Fijipublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 26 August 2023

Fiji recover the ball and send it out for half-time - that was a huge opportunity missed for England.

The rain is back on too, so both sides I am sure will be happy to get some shelter.

  2. Sin-bin - Fiji (Eroni Mawi)published at 39 mins

    England 8-3 Fiji

The prop is sent to the bin for pulling down the England maul, as George Ford opts to again put the ball into the corner.

George Ford punts the ball from a penalty deep into the Fiji 22 - last chance before half-time?

Semi Radradra is next to burst his way through for Fiji, he then bounces over the top of Max Malins.

Malins did say before the game he prefers Radradra on his own side and I can see why.

Brilliant stuff from Fiji putting all facets together. Tight carries making England miss and creating a one-on-one mismatch.

If England don't slow them down, there might be more opportunities for Fiji to exploit.

The final pass just goes forward.

It was vintage Fiji as Selestino Ravutaumada danced through the England defence but his pass to captain Waisea Nayacalevu does go forward.

A close one, but the right call.

It's quite clear that the ball is like a bar of soap. Someone needs to take the game by the scruff of the neck and make a strong carry.

That was an arm wrestle for territory - the halfway line is a pretty fair result for both teams.

This ball is so slippy! Soooo many handling errors.

He may struggle to make notes in these conditions...

You can't blame the hosts for reverting back to their kicking game in these very wet conditions - in 20 minutes there have been 20 kicks.

This is very much England playing for the conditions now. After Fiji scored points, they've come down with a conscious effort to not play any rugby in their own half.

    Back with a bang.

The ball is thrown wide and Jonny May fends off his opposite winger to go over in the corner.

That is the first try by an England back in more than six hours. A spot is open because of Anthony Watson's injury - too early to say he is now heading to France?

A penalty dead in front of the posts and George Ford makes no mistake.
