No, you haven't gone back in time.

Former Glasgow captain Ryan Wilson is back in full kit this evening, helping out the hosts in the warm-up.

A gimmick for TV, or is the flanker planning a return to pro rugby?

The big question surrounding the Ulster team was whether World Cup-winning Springbok loosehead Steven Kitshoff would make his debut. The answer is yes, but from the bench.

There are six changes in the forward pack from the side that beat the Lions last weekend. Irish internationals Eric O'Sullivan, Tom Stewart and Tom O'Toole start in the front row, with Kieran Treadwell beside captain Ian Henderson in the boiler room. Academy product James McNabney starts at eight.

There are only four changes in the back-line, with John Cooney at nine - the scrum-half has made noises about switching allegiance to Scotland. Billy Burns is at fly-half for his 100th Ulster appearance, with Luke Marshall and Will Addison also coming in.

Scrum-half Sean Kennedy makes his first Glasgow Warriors start since March 2021 in the side's match against Ulster on Saturday.

It is one of six changes to the team that earned a bonus-point win over Benetton last time out.

Ben Afshar could make his debut off the bench, while Jack Dempsey returns to the side for the first time since the Rugby World Cup after recovering from a wrist injury.
