  1. Goodnight

    FT: Leinster 21-16 Munster

That is all from us as Leinster edge Munster 21-16 at the Aviva Stadium to remain top of the URC table.

You can read the match report from the game here.

    Thanks for joining us, goodnight!

    Jamison Gibson-Park
  2. Full-Time

    Leinster 21-16 Munster

Leinster were far from their best and Munster gave plenty to an enthralling game and get a losing bonus point, but the hosts come out with a hard-earned victory.

Thank you for joining us at the Aviva Stadium tonight. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

  3. Post update

    Leinster 21-16 Munster

Tadgh Beirne denies Leinster a winning bonus point and saves his side's losing bonus point in the process.

With Leinster inches from the line Beirne emulates his international teammate Dorris and turns it over.

Munster play the penalty and are going to try to go the whole length of the pitch for a miraculous victory!

  4. Huge turnover!

    Leinster 21-16 Munster

Caelan Dorris may well have just sealed this win for Leinster!

Replacement Conor Murray made a fabulous break and Munster went through the phases in the Leinster 22.

As he so often does, Dorris gets over the ball and wins a massive penalty with two minutes left.

  5. Penalty - Leinster 21-16 Munster

    Jack Crowley

Crowley's third penalty of the night goes over via the right-hand upright as he gets Munster within bonus point territory with six minutes to go.

Graham Rowntree's men are back within a score. Can they leave the Aviva with a victory?

  6. Converted try - Jordan Larmour

    Leinster 21-13 Munster

A huge moment for a Leinster team that were struggling through this second half.

Larmour takes a long pass from Jamison Gibson-Park and with three Munster defenders to beat, he finds his way over the line in the right corner.

Ciaran Frawley adds an excellent conversion from the touchline and Leinster open up the lead with just over ten minutes left.

  7. Post update

    Leinster 14-13 Munster

On the hour a potential momentum boost for Leinster. Munster go through 15 phases inside the 22 but the home defence holds strong and win the turnover.

The penalty is greeted by a roar from the majority of the 50,000 inside the Aviva Stadium.

  8. Post update

    Leinster 14-13 Munster

Munster flanker John Hodnett executes a perfect turnover on his own 22. Leinster's inaccuracies could yet cost them.

  9. Post update

    Leinster 14-13 Munster

Munster bring plenty of experience off the bench with Conor Murray and Dave Kilcoyne both introduced.

  10. Penalty - Leinster 14-13 Munster

    Jack Crowley

It's taken 12 minutes, but Munster have the first points of the second half.

James Ryan is penalised for not rolling away and Jack Crowley knocks over his second penalty of the night.

    Munster back within one!

  11. Post update

    Leinster 14-10 Munster

Almost ten minutes gone in the second half and it has been fairly even. Neither side has threatened the opposite 22, never mind the try line.

  12. "Shall we just be friends?"

    Leinster 14-10 Munster

Referee Chris Busby implores the two front rows to just get along after tempers threaten to bubble over here early in the second half.

  13. Kick-Off

    Leinster 14-10 Munster

We are back underway at the Aviva Stadium with Ciaran Frawley kicking off.

  14. Tries from the nines

    Leinster 14-10 Munster

Well, it's been an exciting first half in Dublin.

Three tries thus far... with both scrum-halves getting over!

Will there be more in the second half?

I think there might be you know...

Munster's Craig Casey scores the game's opening try
    Leinster's Jamison Gibson-Park scores Leinster's opening try
  15. Half-time

    Leinster 14-10 Munster

Munster started brilliantly and Leinster have not been their usual clinical selves in the first period.

Ominously for Munster, the hosts still lead but the game is very much in the balance and we are sure to have a fascinating 40 minutes ahead.

  16. Converted try - Dan Sheehan

    Leinster 14-10 Munster

A Leinster line-out and the maul makes it's move to the tryline.

Dan Sheehan burrows over off the back to touch down and Ciaran Frawley adds the extra two.

The home side have their first lead of the night with three minutes until the break.

  17. Post update

    Leinster 7-10 Munster

Leinster's lack of accuracy continues to dog them as they turn the ball over barely five metres from the Munster line.

Leo Cullen will certainly not be happy with his side's standards.

  18. Converted try - Jamison Gibson-Park

    Leinster 7-10 Munster

Leinster are gifted a try after a loose offload on halfway from Tadgh Beirne.

It was a big hit from Ciaran Frawley that caused it before Jamson Gibson-Park hacked it ahead.

The Ireland scrum half outpaced everyone to control his own kick and dive under the posts. Frawley added the extras and we are back within three.

    Leinster's Jamison Gibson-Park celebrates scoring a try
  19. Post update

    Leinster 0-10 Munster

From the lineout resulting from the fore-mentioned penalty, Leinster drop the ball.

A big chance missed and a very uncharacteristic error for the hosts.

    Munster survive... this time!

  20. Yellow Card - Rory Scannell

    Leinster 0-10 Munster

The Munster centre is sent to the bin for cynically stopping Leinster on the line.

It has been a great opening 20 minutes for the visitors but they will have work to do down to 14 men for the next ten minutes.
