Sofia Stefan keeps kicking for Italy, but the rest of her team was not connected and Kildunne does not need a second invitation to run into that space - she beats players for fun!

Third time is the charm for Ellie Kildunne. The England full-back made two breaks to help the Red Roses up the field in a long period of open play, but the third is her finest as she slices through Italian defenders to score.

England's line-out is stolen!

That was great work from Italy.

A great ball out to Aura Muzzo helps them make some ground down the left but they still can't find their way into England's 22.

Well worked from England, the line-out has not functioned like normal today.

Italy did compete, but it's difficult to stop the maul as people are out of position - a good score for England.

Smooth as silk.

A seamless start to the second half for England as the maul rolls easily over the tryline. Lark Atkin-Davies is the player who gets on the scoreboard.

Zoe Harrison still can't find any joy from the tee and misses her third conversion.

Italy only manage to move backwards and are eventually penalised on the floor.

If Beckett had her time again she would have got under the shoulder of Michela Sillari and lifted her back.

'Disjointed' England

It has been a bit disjointed and hasn't been England's best 40 minutes at all.

We expected it to be a bit rocky, but England are normally a clinical side. There have been a few errors from them - 13 handling errors alone.

Half-time

A few scrums and a minor bit of kick-tennis as the clock goes red.

Italy eventually decide enough is enough and Sofia Stefan kicks to touch to bring up half-time.

A slow start to this one! Here's hoping for more excitement in the second half.

England had promised pace in attack before this match but their speed is more noticeable in defence.

They're getting up so quickly and Italy can't make much progress.

'Dominant' England

Again good forward carries which were dominant and England win the space in behind.

Abbie Ward is really low and does well to use her momentum to roll, she could have got caught on her back there with that many defenders.

It is a nice moment for Ward!

The returning England lock - starting for the first time since giving birth - had a try chalked off earlier but she manages to wriggle her way over again and this one will stand.

England look keen to get things moving now as forwards bombard the Italian line before Helena Rowland goes on a stunning run to get the Red Roses to within a few metres of the tryline.

Sadia Kabeya is having a top five minutes. Her huge tackle is enough to make the opposition spill the ball forward to halt an increasingly lively Italian attack.

In the end, that doesn't really matter as Zoe Harrison wins a penalty after being taken out in the air a few phases before.
