On discipline: "To be honest I am frustrated we conceded there and we took the hit.

"Lucy Packer was trying to stop them from going over and disappointed we conceded the one try.

"We do prepare for scenarios so if that unfairness does happen we are ready for it.

"In Italy in the first round with two people in the bin we were ready for it - it is the way the game is."

"We knew where we were and we are taking steps to where we want to get to - it was a bruising first half."

"Ireland have not scored a point against England for three years so it is a small win.

"They [Ireland] were on the back-foot and it makes it hard off the line and we were looking for energy.

"The penalty [converted three points] come off the back of good phases. We will take our learnings from this we have a big game next week and a great thing about sports is we get to go again.

"We have to keep on being positive."
