    A losing bonus-point for Munster and they will progress to the last 16.

    Graham Rowntree's men will be disappointed with the manner in which they were hauled back despite being a man up for much of the game.

    Fin Smith was instrumental in keeping the scoreboard ticking over and controlling the game for the visitors. His team-mate and man of the match Courtney Lawes was also impressive, disrupting Munster's rhythm and causing issues at the breakdown.

    A well-deserved win for Northampton who battled their way back into the game against a Munster side who appeared to take their foot off the pedal too early.

    Great drama at Thomond Park this evening as the fourteen-man English side turned the tables on Munster and leave Limerick with the points.

    Munster were in the driving seat but collapsed when they needed to take control of the game.

    Full credit to Northampton who went up through the gears to complete an outstanding away win in tricky conditions.
