    Tristan Tedder try & conversion

Cardiff can't fully clear the danger and Tedder catches the ball on the touchline and races over from 20 metres out. Lovely solo try.

This time he does add the conversion - at the third attempt - and Racing draw first blood in the second half.

Unfortunately for Cardiff that all stemmed from Tinus de Beer and Mason Grady not connecting in midfield.

Well, Cardiff head coach Matt Sherratt will not be too disappointed with that scoreline.

Kitione Kamikamica, Siya Kolisi and Inia Tabuavou have put Racing within one more try of a bonus.

But Cardiff have hit back through Rhys Carre and Tomos Williams only for Tinus de Beer to miss an absolute sitter in front of the posts.

You just hope the Mackenzie Martin is nothing too serious.

  7. Half-time: Racing 92 20-12 Cardiffpublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January

Cardiff stop the lineout - but illegally.

Racing get the scrum but Tomos Williams snags the number eight early and Le Gerrec knock-on.

    Whistle blows.

    Cardiff did REALLY well there.

    Tomos Williams

Well they're really not giving up here.

Ben Thomas spots the mis-match and glides between two big forwards before timing his pass to Williams.

Oh dear, Tinus de Beer has missed the conversion from almost in front of the posts.

    That is two points wasted.

    Racing 92 20-7 Cardiff

Lopeti Timani on for Cardiff in place of Mackenzie Martin.

Hard to see what happened to the number eight but you only hope it's nothing to stop him making his international debut in the Six Nations after his call out of the blue.

A crunching hit by Mason Grady on Juan Imhoff.

    Inia Tabuavou

Another charged down kick costs Cardiff.

This time it's Racing lock Will Rowlands blocking his Wales team-mate Tomos Williams' kick.

Juan Imhoff tidies up and Tabuavu has an easy finish in the corner.

    Tedder misses the extra again.

Nolann Le Gerrec is really struggling here.

He's been feeling his shoulder for the last ten minutes and is now holding his wrist.

I wonder how long he will stay on, with the Six Nations around the corner.

Let's see what Cardiff can conjure.

Bit of confusion in midfield, prop Keiron Assiratti standing at first receiver... I'm pretty sure that wasn't the plan!

    Siya Kolisi

    The answer is no.

Well... rather, the TMO could not see a reason to disagree with referee Chistophe Ridley's on-field decision.

    I'm not so sure.

Conversion is missed from out wide so it's an eight-point game.

  18. Close!published at 21 mins

    Racing 92 10-7 Cardiff

Fair play, Cardiff are giving this a right go.

Tomos Williams put through a clever kick with Racing's defence up close.

Tinus de Beer collects and kick on again in one movement but Aled Summerhill is just beaten by the bounce of the ball.

Converted try: Racing 92 10-7 Cardiffpublished at 18 mins

Kitione Kamikamica try, Tristan Tedder conversion

    The relief was short-lived!

The big number eight makes amends for costing his side that try by latching onto Le Gerrec's cross-field kick to touch down in the corner.

But it all came from Cameron Woki's charging down Tinus de Beer's kick.

  20. No try: Racing 92 3-7 Cardiffpublished at 16 mins

Oh hang on... the TMO has come to Cardiff's rescue and pointed out that number eight Kitione Kamikamica separated and then rejoined the maul.

Obstruction - no try and Cardiff heave a sigh of relief.
