  11. 'Any trip to Scotstoun is tough'published at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Glasgow v Dragons (19:35)

Speaking earlier in the week Dragons head coach Dai Flanagan said: "Any trip to Scotstoun is tough. Glasgow are a well-coached team and when they lose an international team, they bring another one in to replace them.

"They have a lot of experienced players they can bring in for this period and that means they will be a real test.

"We have a lengthy injury list, without making excuses, but that brings opportunity and exposure to players who can go and grab the chance."

  12. Dobie rises to the challengepublished at 19:31 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Glasgow v Dragons (19:35)

Head coach Franco Smith says Jamie Dobie will start on the wing instead of his usual scrum-half role as a way of ensuring Glasgow Warriors have "the best rugby players on the pitch" against Dragons on Saturday evening.

"Through injury concerns from other players and national duty, obviously it was fantastic to be able to say to Jamie ‘listen, step up in that role’ and he is the type of person who embraces the challenge," he said.

"It’s going to be his first game back after a long injury lay off. He’s excited to just get going and I’m glad that it’s on the wing where he can also add a lot of value because I like the fact that there’s two scrum-halves on the field.

"That will help us with the way we play."
