  1. Good night from Kingsholm

    FT: Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

Gloucester were more than good value for this quarter-final victory and their remarkable cup run this season continues as they aim for a double.

The home side overcame an ill-disciplined Ospreys side who failed to score a second-half point.

Thank you for joining us tonight and have a great weekend.

  2. Post update

    Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

Ospreys defence coach Mark Jones speaking on BBC Radio Wales: "I'm very proud of the effort, we didn't lack in effort.

"Giving away as many penalties as we did tonight, it was always going to be tough away from home.

"We probably deserved to come out on the losing side of things based on the penalty count.

"We don't feel we were the best version of ourselves tonight, we didn't play as well as we could've done.

"That doesn't take anything away from Gloucester, they were accurate in their game plan and capitalised on our mistakes.

"We prepared well, but unfortunately we couldn't quite grasp it tonight, but we'll work on it and come back again."

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

When Toby Booth analyses this game, I think he'll find they lost a lot of those little battles.

It only takes the odd mistake and you're punished in European rugby.

  4. Post update

    FT: Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

The Ospreys were strangled, they were being penalised in scrums and they couldn't really get out of their own half.

A brave display from the Ospreys, but they were out-muscled in the end by this Gloucester side.

  5. Post update

    FT: Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

Gloucester kept the pressure on the Ospreys and controlled the second half.

They squeezed the Ospreys and didn't really give them a chance.

  6. Full-time - Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

It will be Gloucester who go through to the European Challenge Cup semi-final after a confident victory over Ospreys.

The home side have controlled the second half. Full-back Santi Carreras kicked six penalties and Seb Blake scored a try.

Ospreys still have not reached a European semi-final and Welsh interest in both tournaments for this season has ended.

Gloucester will have a home tie against Benetton or Connacht on the opening weekend of May.

  7. Post update

    Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

Cries of 'Gloucester, Gloucester' ring around Kingsholm. The home crowd sense their team have done enough.

  8. Post update

    Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

The flow has lacked from the Ospreys in this second half, it will take something really special now.

  9. Post update

    Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

Ospreys have looked pretty shapeless in the second half and never looked like breaking down the Gloucester defence. A wayward forward pass from Adam Beard sums up their night.

Fly-half Dan Edwards, lock Huw Sutton and scrum-half Luke Davies come on for James Ratti, Owen Williams and Reuben Morgan-Williams but they do not have much chance to make an impression. Replacement full-back Max Nagy has looked threatening, though, at times.

  10. Post update

    Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

Ospreys need to try keep up some intensity, keep the ball in that Gloucester 22 and get back in this game.

  11. Post update

    Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

Gloucester scrum-half Stephen Varney has kicked well tonight and the Welsh-born Italy scrum-half is growing with every game.

He set the platform for Gloucester to almost score a second try but wing Jake Morris is denied in the corner by Luke Morgan. It's all Gloucester.

  12. More replacements

    Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

Ospreys front-row duo Lewis Lloyd and Rhys Henry come on for Sam Parry and Tom Botha.

Gloucester bring on Albert Tuisue for Freddie Thomas and Jack Clement for Zach Mercer.

  13. Penalty - Gloucester 23-13 Ospreys

    Santi Carreras

This time it is the Ospreys scrum that malfunctions with Santi Carreras slotting over his sixth penalty.

The Argentina international has his kicking boots on tonight and Gloucester now are two scores ahead.

  14. Post update

    Gloucester 20-13 Ospreys

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

The Ospreys need to ignite themselves, they're being suffocated.

Big 10 minutes for the Ospreys.

  15. Post update

    Gloucester 20-13 Ospreys

The home side are in control with the Ospreys looking a little ragged as they continually concede penalties.

French referee Pierre Brousset has a word with Ospreys captain Justin Tipuric.

  16. Replacements

    Gloucester 20-13 Ospreys

It is Gloucester's turn to ring the changes as the whole front-row is rotated.

Santi Socino, Mayco Vivas and Fraser Balmain come on for Jamal Ford-Robinson, Seb Blake and Kirill Gotovtsev.

  17. Penalty - Gloucester 20-13 Ospreys

    Santi Carreras

That missed kick from Owen Williams is looking a little costly now as Santi Carreras slots over his fifth penalty.

The gap is now seven points.

  18. Post update

    Gloucester 17-13 Ospreys

    Ian Gough

Former Wales international on BBC Radio Wales

The Ospreys have just lost their shape a little.

There was no chase on that penalty, I'm just questioning the intensity a bit, the Ospreys need to pick it back up.

  19. Replacements

    Gloucester 17-13 Ospreys

Ospreys are looking to freshen things up and bring on prop Nicky Smith and back row Morgan Morse for Gareth Thomas and Harri Deaves.

  20. Missed chance

    Gloucester 17-13 Ospreys

That spark could have come from Ospreys wing Luke Morgan with a burst down the right hand side but outside-half Owen Williams hits the post with a penalty.
