"Yeah to be honest, it was an impressive fight back but it wasn't a great performance.

"It was great to be home, all the flights take their toll, so just glad to get home.
"Through adversary together, we stuck in in the second half and got the job done.
"We look forward to Treviso next week, and we look forward to being at home again especially after a few tough weeks on the road."
Ulster 19-17 Cardiff
It's all over! Ulster win, but they really got out of jail at the death. They enjoyed plentiful possession in that second half, but were so wasteful at times.
Cardiff can be proud of their effort tonight and may feel hard done by with that late late penalty.
For Ulster they take another giant step towards play-off rugby.
John Cooney (80 mins)
John Cooney strokes it through the uprights with not a care in the world, Ulster have snatched it surely.

Penalty Ulster from 20 metres.
Ulster 16-17 Cardiff
This time it's Andrew Warwick who can't hold onto the ball in contact after a superb break by Jude Postlethwaite.
Is this to be Cardiff's night? They have worked their socks off in defence.
Ulster 16-17 Cardiff
The hosts look very threatening as they near Cardiff's 22, but Ethan McIlroy is turned over, chance missed.

Time for a quick poll.

And he nails it!
Ulster 16-14 Cardiff
Cardiff so close to hitting straight back.
Flanker Thomas Young sprints down the right wing looking all set to score, but replacent Ulster lock Cormac Izuchukwu hauls him down and manages to dislodge the ball with his leg. Outstanding effort.
Cardiff certainly look like they want their lead back.
John Cooney (66 mins)
Did anyone ever doubt that?
John Cooney bangs over the penalty from all of 40 metres, and Ulster lead for the first time.
Ulster 13-14 Cardiff
It may be scrappy but it's exciting.
Ulster trying to go quickly from a scrum free-kick on halfway, but are somewhat thwarted from some destructive Cardiff defence.
However, Ulster are awarded a penalty 40 metres out.
Dave McCann (59 mins)
Ulster are rewarded for going to the corner with the penalty.
After a scrappy lineout, the forwards pick and drive, using Alan O'Connor well, but the big forward is just short. However, Dave McCann makes no mistake as he dives over from the base of the ruck.
Replacement John Cooney grabs the extras and it's a one-point game again
Ulster 6-14 Cardiff
Ulster get a penalty on Cardiff's 22, corner or kick at posts?
Ulster 6-14 Cardiff
New props in the shape of Andrew Warwick and Tom O'Toole help shore up a creaking Ulster scrum and the ball is worked right where Marcus Rea darts through into the Cardiff 22 but the ball slips out of his grasp and goes forward. Another escape for Cardiff.
Ulster 6-14 Cardiff
Watch Theo Cabango produce an impressive play to score his and Cardiff's second try against Ulster.

Jacob Stockdale (50 mins)
Ulster 6-14 Cardiff
The hosts try to bite back with replacement Billy Burns - on for Jake Flannery - upping the tempo at Fly-half. But it's more sloppy mistakes with Jacob Stockdale knocking on a high ball.
Just minutes later it gets worse for the big winger as he sees yellow for a deliberate knock-on. Cardiff have a big chance to seal the game in the next 10 minutes.
Theo Cabango (43 mins)
Excellent try from the Cardiff winger. The Welsh side have started fast in this second half.
The ball is swung wide on the left and Theo Cabango streaks past Tom Stewart before slicing inside Jacob Stockdale to run under the posts.
