It's not Steven Whittaker's day in front of goal. Every effort has been a sclaff from the Scotland man. A neat one-touch move opens up space for him, but he blasts his effort well over the bar.

The hosts are eager to get level again at Rugby Park. Jordan Jones digs out a cross and Dean Hawkshaw's connection cannot quite direct the ball on target. Work to do for Kilmarnock against Dundee.

Steven MacLean spurns a great chance to level as a fortunate prod forward by Murray Davidson - it was actually a tackle - sets the striker clear behind the Accies defence, but he fires his shot against the face of the crossbar from the edge of the penalty area.

BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid ParkThe last time these sides met, St Johnstone team-mates Danny Swanson and Richard Foster had their infamous bust-up. Something far more positive has lit up this game - a thunderous strike from Greg Docherty to give Hamilton the lead.
There's certainly something about the talented young Accies midfielder who seems to get better with every game. He brings drive and verve to the Hamilton central midfield - and he certainly has plenty of polish when it comes to technique, a fine goal.

It's turning into a cracking game in the Highlands. Hibs are not settling for a one-goal lead - Simon Murray moves the ball onto his right boot but a deflection takes the sting out of his shot.
The Hibs goalkeeper Ross Laidlaw has his first real test of the game, with Billy McKay getting a chance just yards from goal, but he slips as he shoots and Laidlaw is able to gather at the near post.

Lovely skills from Anthony Stokes takes him past Jim O'Brien. He cuts back to Lewis Stevenson who should really hit the target but it almost goes for a throw in.

Greg Docherty puts Accies ahead with a superb bit of individual skill.
The midfielder leaves defenders Steven Anderson and Richard Foster in his wake with a dip of his shoulder before firing a thundering drive into the far corner of the net from just inside the penalty box.
That came immediately after a moment of hesitation by Accies goalkeeper Gary Woods allowed Graham Cummins to reach a high ball and lift his header over the Englishman.
But Alex Gogic was on hand to clear as the ball trickled towards the goal-line and Accies marched upfield to take the lead.

BBC ScotlandQuote MessageRoss County haven't kept a clean sheet in the league all season and Hibernian's opener was the perfect example of why the Staggies are struggling at the back. John McGinn's corner wasn't dealt with and Paul Hanlon was given enough time in the box to control the ball before firing home. The only hope for County boss Jim McIntyre after seeing his side start sluggishly is that the visitors haven't kept a clean sheet in the Premiership either but Hibs are looking ominously threatening going forward.

Ali Crawford has been slack in the Accies midfield so far, but he makes up for it with a superb chip over the Saints defence that drops invitingly at the feet of Rakish Bingham.
But goalkeeper Alan Mannus spreads himself well to block the striker's shot from point-blank range and Greg Docherty blasts the rebound wastefully over the crossbar from 15 yards!
