When Kyren smells that something is changing in a match he seems to know he can get things going. He didn't waste any time. He is trying to get himself at it. I like what he is doing.

There were two enormous slices of good fortune in this frame for Wilson, but fair play - he has done what he had to do. He could not afford to go further behind.

He had some luck in frame 14, but Kyren Wilson stops the rot and wins his first frame in four. It is a much-needed frame, and after the luck goes his way he does the rest in some style, making 73 - his seventh half-century break of the final.

He was 5-2 down to Judd Trump yesterday and won it 6-5, now he is trying to claw himself back from 8-5 behind. Well, he has one. 8-6.

Kyren Wilson's form with the rest has been a bit shaky, but not this time. He downs a red and has a great chance to pull one back. 0-55

Mark Allen has got his man just where he wants him. I don't think he will shut up shop but he will take less risks. If Kyren doesn't win this frame, you have to think his chance has gone.

If you get some luck you have to take it. Kyren Wilson leaves a black hanging over the pocket, before Allen leaves a red on the table. Nervous, very nervous from both men. 0-17

Kyren Wilson is a fighter - you only had to see the match against Trump when he came back. But he won't get Allen playing crazy shots to let him back in.

"Maybe that could be a turning point" asks Stephen Hendry. It comes as Kyren Wilson gets some luck of his own in frame 14 - payback for that lucky Mark Allen green in the last frame.

This time a red hits the knuckles of the middle pocket and goes into the top pocket. Wilson will certainly take that.
