It was tough for Kyren. He took on that black, but he hadn't potted a ball for two games which put pressure on himself. Kyren needs to steady the ship, but he is running out of frames. I don't think he was happy in that frame. He needs to get some table time now.

That miss on the black is Wilson's last shot of the frame and Allen makes it three frames in a row.

That is also breaks of 73, 119 and 50 in Allen's last three frames. The title is closing in. Wilson needs something special to pull this one out of the fire.

You can sometimes get away with missing chances, but when you keep doing it, then it becomes a mind game. Kyren will be very, very disappointed. You get the feeling the match is slipping away from him now.

Despite that lucky green, Allen gives Wilson a chance, but he misses a pot while using the rest. 47-1 Allen in control in frame 13.

Would you believe it? OK he's on nothing, but how did the green go through the gap? You never see that.

Talk about good fortune. Mark Allen powers the green at the left middle pocket, it bounces off the jaws, heads diagonally across the table, through the pack of reds and vanishes into the bottom right pocket.

Kyren Wilson might be thinking that today is just not his day.

Mark Allen seems to be finding a higher gear at the right time in this match. The difference has been the cue ball and the control of it.

Back after a mini-break and Kyren Wilson, who has lost the past two frames, lashes at one with his first shot of the session. It stays out and that could hurt him.

Great play from Mark Allen. He has timed things very nicely. He could have been 5-3 down and it is a different story now. That said, Kyren Wilson has shown he can play his way back into a match already in this tournament. We shall see.

Mark Allen is certainly starting to motor now. His shot on the pink to split the reds during that break was magnificent. This has been top draw stuff. He would probably wish he could carry on and not have an interval.

That break of 119 is the 28th century of the tournament. One more century will make it the highest total in nine years, but the players will have to go some to beat the 31 figure from 2009.

It has taken 12 frames, but we have our first century of the final. Mark Allen's foot is down on the accelerator now. His break of 73 in the previous frame was his best of the match, but he smashes that minutes later with 119.

What a way to go into the interval if Mark Allen can win the frame in one visit here. He is starting to look very strong now.

Allen gives a nervous shake of the head as he thinks he misses the blue into the middle. But it rolls around the pocket and then drops. He is heading for a two-frame advantage.
