Last year, you voted Emma Raducanu as Sports Personality of the Year following her fairytale US Open win.

At only her second Grand Slam, Raducanu, then 18, ended Britain's 44-year wait for a women's Grand Slam singles champion with her remarkable victory at Flushing Meadows.

In the public vote, diver Tom Daley placed second and swimmer Adam Peaty was third.

It’s always interesting to see who’s sat next to each other at the Sports Personality show. You’ll spot some familiar faces during the programme.

Rehearsals have been keen taking place throughout the day, with local students deputising for the actual award winners.
