Seven-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer, who faces Novak Djokovic in Sunday's final, speaking to BBC Sport: "The rain wasn't a problem, I got almost everything in. It's all about getting some movement going out there.

Fifty-five minutes is undoubtedly the fast lane to victory. But Eugenie Bouchard should take solace from Molla Mallory and Joan Fry's demise.

Mallory went down 6-2 6-0 in 23 minutes to Suzanne Lenglen in 1922. Some accounts state that the match was over in 20 minutes.

Lenglen did the dirty on Fry three years later, winning 6-2 6-0 in in 25 minutes,
