Djokovic breezes past Wawrinka 6-3 6-0
World number one v Australian Open champion

Is the momentum shifting back to Stan again? No chance. Djokovic holds to 15 and the first set is in the bag in 41 minutes. Incredible tennis from the world numero uno.
Great game. At 30-30 Wawrinka serves an ace down the middle and screams "come on". But Djokovic's next return is a barn-storming forehand across the court. Several deuces follow, with the world number one looking almost superhuman as he sprints from one side of the court to the other to save a game point. Wawrinka hits back with a devastating backhand pass and finally holds serve when Djokovic misses a forehand.
For the first time in a while, Wawrinka gets into a game at 30-30. But a wayward backhand and a top-edged forehand make it five straight games for Djokovic.

"The margins always seem so small for Wawrinka between being great and terrible. On the plus side, he can ride out these valleys as well and end up peaking once more. Hopefully he'll get his rhythm back because I don't think Djokovic is going anywhere."
Piers Newbery
BBC Sport at the O2 Arena in London
"The house is well and truly packed tonight and umpire Mohamed Lahyani, never exactly a shrinking violet, is loving the big-time atmosphere. Few people could make so much of saying "Stop!" "Let!" or "First seerrrrrrvice!"
This is one-way traffic at the moment and Djokovic has the ball on a piece of string. Another Wawrinka double fault gives him three break points and Djokovic puts together a lovely point before finishing it with a whipped forehand winner.
We asked you whether Djokovic gets the credit he deserves, here's some thoughts:
Sands, external says: "Is it because he wins too much? Really, I like to watch a match where the outcome wasn't already decided."
Qalih, external says: "Novak Djokovic is considered great! Not as great as Rafael Nadal or Roger Federer because he doesn't have the hair!"
On that basis, Qalih, Murray will never be considered great with his unruly mop.
Djokovic's run of points is finally broken after 11 on the bounce, but he wins the game to 15 when Wawrinka goes long. The Serb has turned this game around in a flash and suddenly, it is Wawrinka who is climbing up a mountain in flip-flops.
Oh dear, Stan is under the cosh now. A double fault hands Djokovic three break points. The world number one steams into a return, it flies off the frame of Wawrinka's racquet, and we're back on level terms.

"You can tell that these two have played each other a lot. They know the patterns, they know the tendencies on each big point and are already moving into the spaces. At the moment Wawrinka is coming out on top."
What a start from Stan. Djokovic needs to get on the board. And he does. With ease. A hold to love.

"Wawrinka is the only player I can think of who is able to relentlessly knock Djokovic off balance with the sheer weight of his shots."
Pressure on Stan now as Djokovic opens up a 0-30 lead, then a break point at 30-40. A 135mph service rocket gets him out of trouble and a blistering forehand pass gives him a 2-0 lead.

"This match has a big time feel to it. Already in this first game we are seeing some fantastic shot-making from these two players."
Wow. If the first game is anything to go by, we could be in for an absolute cracker. Wawrinka wins it, claiming the break at the third time of asking after a game in which he put Djokovic under pressure in every point and hit sparkling winners off both flanks.
Warm-up and practice serves complete. We're almost ready folks. Djokovic may be all in black but coach Becker is wearing a dazzling blue and orange tracksuit top. No troubles spotting the big man in the crowd, Novak.
Breaking news: Djokovic has had a haircut. BBC Radio 5 live sports extra's resident fashion expert David Law says: "Dressed in black, Djokovice looks pretty cool - he's got the Darth Vader look going on."

"We commentated on this match last year in these finals and the level Djokovic achieved then was amazing. But Wawrinka has got the power, has got the game, and has the best percentage against the top 10 opposition - he's won seven of eight against the top 10 this year."

"This for me is the match of the week so far - mainly because of the history they have had. There's been some absolute classics over the last two years and I've gone berserk in commentary at these two playing each other, more than anybody else. This one is a big one."
Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic has told BBC Sport that his coach Boris Becker adds more to his team than people appreciate, and that their relationship has grown stronger now they understand "what makes us happy and what makes us angry".
