    A deep return from Bouchard onto the toes of Radwanska forces the Pole into the net. 0-30 now as Bouchard hits a winner from mid court.

    Another winner from the Canadian and it is three break points. She nets the first, is wide with the second, and another good serve forces her long with the third.

    Chance gone? Bouchard into the net and a match point for the fourth seed.She wins it as Bouchard is inches long.

    The unforced errors from Bouchard are growing.

    She trails 15-30 but averts a mini crisis, as she stoops low to send a winning volley at the net into an empty court.

    This could be big. Break point Radwanska as Bouchard fluffs a sitter, smashing wide from the net.

    Break. Bouchard is wide again. Radwanska serves for the match.

    Agnieszka Radwanska may not have the power of Eugenie Bouchard but her accuracy is unerring.

    The Canadian looks downbeat as she goes long to give Radwanska another game point at 40-0.

    Bouchard saves one but it is a temporary reprieve as Radwanska brilliant picks up an attempted pass, forces her opponent into a pick up on the ruin, before stroking the winner into an empty court.

    The Rod Laver crowd are fairly subdued.

    This has been a decent match but they are waiting for Novak Djokovic.

    Radwanska is doing her best to finish this quickly, a lovely forehand pass taking her to 40-30, but Bouchard wins the game.

    Not over yet.

    Bouchard has a sniff of a break.

    A backhand winner gives her 0-30 but she is quickly pegged back as she goes for a winner but sends the ball wide. 30-30.

    Radwanska will not be knocked off her stride and she wins the game with a delicate slice past her opponent at the net.

    Eugenie Bouchard is not going away quietly.

    She send the artillery down and wins the game with a booming ace.

    She meant that one. Eugenie Bouchard wins the first point with a fizzing backhand down the line. You don't return those.

    Rally of the match at 15-15 as Bouchard and Radwanska chase everything down. Up and back, left and right, the Canadian thinks she has won the point as Radwanska's angled backhand is called out. The Pole wins a challenge but loses the replayed point.

    Radwanska is annoyed. She is happier now, winning the game with a big serve after Bouchard had netted.

    How can Eugenie Bouchard respond? For large parts of that first set, she dominated Radwanska with some heavy hitting.

    The Pole stayed in the set though before taking advantage of some inevitable mistakes from Bouchard's high-risk strategy.

    She starts the second set in the same vein, going for her shots and missing some.

    An early break point for the fourth seed and Radwanska doesn't need a second as Bouchard goes long.

    Some solid hitting and some wayward strikes from Bouchard see the Pole race into a 40-0 lead. 

    A double fault wastes the first set point, before a backhand winner down the line from Bouchard saves the second.

    Wow. Two massive cross court strikes and we are at deuce. More big, big, hitting from the Canadian saves another break point before Radwanska floats a backhand long to hand Bouchard break point.

    Saved by Radwanska and a brilliant forehand touches the line to give her the set.Great stuff.

    Eugenie Bouchard just won't stop attacking.

    A couple more whacks, she advances to the net and smashes away a timid lob.

    Radwanska is simply trying to stay in the rallies and, with some success, as Bouchard nets to put the Pole ahead 15-30.

    Chance now. Brilliant from Radwanska, a dipping forehand pass bringing break point and the break is secured as Bouchard goes long with a backhand.

    Much better from Agnieszka Radwanska as she takes the match to Eugenie Bouchard, forcing errors and leading 30-15.

    She is in trouble now though as in inexplicable drop shot is giving the treatment it deserves from Bouchard and a double fault brings break point.

    Break point saved and, after a couple more scares, she holds her serve.

    Bouchard is showing no let up with regards her aggressive approach. It is high risk though and a number of errors bring Radwanska two break back points. 

    She only needs one with Bouchard going long with an all-or-nothing second serve. Double fault and back on serve.

    Radwanska is having real trouble with Bouchard's power. The Pole again loses the first point of her serve as her opponent's power game is relentless.

    15-30 as Bouchard sends a wicked winner down the line but Radwanska stays in it as she forces a couple of errors.

    More powerful hitting brings Bouchard the next two points and break point. Saved but temporarily.

    Dream stuff from Bouchard. On her second break point, a delicious drop shot leaves Radwanska no chance. First strike goes to Eugenie Bouchard.

    A double fault gives Radwanska the first point but, looking to take advantage, she advances to the net and volleys into the top of the tape.

    A bit of luck for Bouchard as a net cord leaves the fourth seed no chance but it is back to 30-30 as the Canadian continues her hard-hitting approach.

    A brilliant angled backhand winner across court from deep gives her game point but a second double fault brings our first deuce.

    No panic though as Bouchard drives away a volley and her serve is held as Radwanska nets from the baseline.
