Andy Murray speaking to BBC Sport: "It was tough. Nico won the tournament last week and is a very accomplished grass-court player. With the weather like it is, we have not been able to get out and hit over the past few days.
"It is frustrating for both of us when the court is slippy because you want to get in the position to play your best tennis. Hopefully he did not hurt himself too much in that last set because no-one wants that with Wimbledon round the corner.
"Ivan doesn't give any signs during the match. He has a pretty straight face. But it is great to have him back and, working with Jamie Delgado, I think it is a pretty strong team. Hopefully they can help me win more big events."

"That was a super match. Mahut played well and would have beaten a lot of the other players here but he was unlucky to come up against Murray.
"It's very easy to be flat after a Grand Slam where you get to the finals. It's tough to be fired up from the first point but Murray was."

A delicious drop-shot sneaks over the net by the bristles on the ball as Nicolas Mahut gets on the board in the tie-break.
Andy Murray slugs away behind his own tee-off to bring up 4-1. And then a lovely dipping backhand pass leaves Mahut looking like a spare part at a net party.

The Frenchman looks over his shoulder and sees the ball land a couple of millimetres long.
That means that 15-30 turns to 15-40, rather than the lot less comfy 30-30.
