In the break, I wonder if Raonic's team have offered some words of advice - like attacking his opponent more? Or whether they have seen their man is winning this set and told him to continue doing what he's doing.

    Goffin 6-4 6-3 Raonic

We're back underway on most of the outside courts after a short rain delay.

Milos Raonic is fighting his way back into his fourth-round match with David Goffin on court two.

After going two sets down, the sixth seed has broken his Belgium opponent to lead in the third.

    Lindsay Davenport
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC TV

We talk so much about Serena's serving numbers - her second serve points won is down to 36% but she finds a way to win. Her opponent had an opportunity to serve out the set, what does Serena do? She finds a way to get so much better.

    S Williams 7-5 *Kuznetsova

Svetlana Kuznetsova presses forward to see off a first set point.

It is like trying to turn back the tide though. Serena Williams is just relentless.

The American living legend lands a return right up on Svetlana Kuznetsova's toes on a second and the Russian can only flick tamely into the net.

The vacuum-packed, hermetically-sealed atmosphere of Centre Court is suiting the favourite.

Serena Williams conceded a break point to Svetlana Kuznetsova in unfortunate fashion as she slipped and fell while trying to change direction.

Kuznetsova is currently serving to stay in the first set.

"Pain doesn't kill me, I kill pain."

That is what Svetlana Kuznetsova has tattooed on the inside of her right arm.

Ominious. But then so is Serena Williams.

The roof is on Centre Court and we are back under way.

A drop shot that was a thing of beauty from Lucas Pouille in the first set.

I'd say this looks promising for the rest of the day.

Move along, rain. You're not welcome here.

  11. Play suspendedpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 4 July 2016

Looks like all the outside courts are being covered up for the time being.

The weather forecast did predict showers this afternoon, but hopefully they don't hang around.

The roof's been closed on Centre Court so Serena Williams and Svetlana Kuznetsova are back out and will resume in a jiffy.

  12. Into tie-break on Court One, play suspendedpublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 4 July 2016

    V Williams 6-6 (4-2) Suarez Navarro

Clear Main Street. We are into a tie-break shoot-out over on Court One.

Venus Williams comes into it with a bit of momentum after recovering from being broken in her opening two service games.

Hold up. The mizzle is coming down fast. Down comes the net, off come the players.

We've seen such a mix of tactics from Venus Williams. She's so much more impressive when she's on the front foot.

    Sam Smith
Former British number one on BBC TV

I'm sure Serena would love it if they closed the roof because she could serve more aces. She's already taken a tumble so you can see why. Kuznetsova and Williams are both good friends and if they're both unhappy there's not a lot anybody can do about it. It's spitting ever so slightly.

  16. Play continues on outside courtspublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 4 July 2016

While Serena Williams and Svetlana Kuznetsova head back to the locker room, the rest of the courts are still in use.

If Centre Court has its own weather system, it really is the microest of micro climates.

  17. Play suspended on Centrepublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 4 July 2016

    S.Williams 5-5 Kuznetsova

We have a bit of a stand-off here.

A pitter-patter of rain on Centre Court and neither Serena Williams or Svetlana Kuznetsova look keen to continue with the roof open.

Tournament referee Andrew Jarrett comes out to try and broker a solution. Some of the crowd slow-clap the two players. No dice though.

Play is suspended. Fair enough, when as a pair of players you decide it is too dangerous for livelihood-supporting ligaments skidding about on the grass ,you should probably have the final say.

Oh dear. Milos Raonic is in all kinds of trouble on court two.

The Canadian serves a double fault to hand David Goffin the break and the second set.

Belgian Goffin has never made it past the fourth round here. Could it be his time?
