  8. Jose Mourinho at Wimbledonpublished at 18:24 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

It looks as though Jose may have become a true adopted Brit by choosing to watch Andy Murray rather than being in Paris to see Portugal v France in the Euro 2016 final. Saying that, I am sure he will still get himself over to the Stade de France in time. Not a bad way to spend the day if he decides to do it.

  10. 'Murray never looked back'published at 18:20 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Murray wins Wimbledon

Two-time Wimbledon winner Stefan Edberg: "Andy Murray was in control from the very beginning. In finals the first set is always crucial. Once he was ahead he never looked back. Milos never really had a chance until into the third set.

"At 29, I'm sure Murray is going to win more slams, there is no question. There are a lot of good guys around but he's going to have a few good years ahead of him."

    Lleyton Hewitt
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC TV

It was the game that we had expected: The big serve and the return. Murray was like a brick wall. He ended up drawing those errors out of Raonic, who to his credit kept coming forward.

Milos really is getting better and better and this year it looks to be all falling together on the grass court for him now. He does go searching for the answers on how to be the best he can possibly be. We will see him again here.

    Murray wins Wimbledon

    Boris Becker
Three-time Wimbledon champion on BBC TV

Boris Becker: "Andy was solid. you could see during the match that he had more experience. Milos was knocking on the door but not loud enough.

"Obviously, the big one is always the first one and once you break that duck there's room for more. He's 29, at the peak of his career, so I'm sure he's going to be up for a few more Grand Slams.

"Grass is his most natural surface, and he's always going to be a big threat at Wimbledon. Hard court is a great surface for him too. He'll be winning a couple more."

  16. Raonic praises winner Murraypublished at 18:01 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

Andy Murray wins second Wimbledon title

Milos Raonic has been telling the media just how tough an opponent he faced today in Andy Murray:

“I thought he was very good at being very aggressive when he had the chance. Every single time he had forehands in the middle of the court he really hit them and didn’t give you two looks.

“He moves incredibly well, he returns well - those are his two biggest strengths and he’s been playing well. Every time you play him, you know he’s going to get more returns back than anyone else, along with Novak.”
