How long before we can start thinking about putting a fork in this one? Again Murray tests the backhand, again Dimitrov fails. The world number two has won eight games in a row and has a double break in the second set.

In fairness to Dimitrov, it must be hard playing tennis against a black blur. Murray is everywhere at the far end, sprinting, slicing and belting. When one sits up off the top of the net, the fur is hitting the back wall for the earliest possible break.

Murray is talking to himself and that's always a good sign after a point that he's won. He's fulls of beans right now after an easy hold.
Murray, looking like Lev Yashin in his all-black kit, gives us a first fist pump and cries of "come on" as the world number 24 flaps in the face of his serve. Hold to love, backing up that break. Murray all over this first set.
