    Zverev 6-4 3-6 Nadal

A grunt from Nadal as he serves and he secures the point with a forehand winner down the line.

Big hitting from both players now, Zverev lobbing high and Nadal responds with an equally strong smash. The ball is in the air for an age but it's Nadal who gets the final touch to get the point.

Set point - and Nadal is the one with the fist pump as Zverev hits his forehand into the net.

    *Zverev 6-4 3-5 Nadal

Zverev pulls it back to 30-30, but Rafael Nadal gets a set point after Zverev dumps a forehand into the net.

But as quickly as the chance comes, the chance goes with Zverev producing an overhead backhand smash to save himself and keep the set alive.

Zverev holds his serve, but Nadal will now be serving for the second set.

    Zverev 6-4 2-5 Nadal*

Let's have a look now at the men's singles and Rafael Nadal has a battle on his hands against German teenager Alexander Zverev.

Zverev, 19, won the opening set 6-4, but Nadal leads 5-2 in the second and 0-30 on Zverev's serve.

  4. 'I played at a high level'published at 06:20 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Wozniacki 3-6 1-6 Konta

Some quotes from Johanna Konta who has moved into the fourth round of the women's singles. She says: "I definitely played at a high level today, Caroline really makes you work for it and doesn’t give you anything so I am happy with my level.

"I knew it would be incredibly tough and I wanted to assert myself from the get go and play the match I wanted to play. What an amazing crowd, you guys were incredible."

Konta next plays Russian Ekaterina Makarova in the last 16.

"We played in the fourth round here last year and I think it was 8-6 in the third so I am expecting a battle," adds Konta.

"It will be tough, just like against anyone in any match, you don’t have any easy matches any more."

    Wozniacki 3-6 1-6 Konta

She's good at tennis but Jo Konta is rubbish at throwing towels into a crowd. She aims and ends up throwing it at the ball boy.

A smile and a wave before she goes off the court. She'll face Ekaterina Makarova in the next round.

  7. game, set and match

Game, set and matchpublished at 06:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Wozniacki 3-6 1-6 Konta

Konta wipes her face on the towel, a one second breather before she unleashes the serve and Wozniacki overhits the return.

Another good rally but Konta's in control, moving forward and drawing the error out of Wozniacki. A fist pump, a shout of "come on!" and a wave to the crowd. A highly impressive victory from Johanna Konta.

    *Wozniacki 3-6 1-6 Konta

A shimmy forward from Wozniacki, forcing Konta to backpedal, but her slam back somehow drops in.

This isn't quite going Konta's way, Wozniacki hitting on an awkward ankle, but a review saves Konta going down two break points, with a fraction of the ball appearing on the line.

More aggression from Konta on that second serve gets her to match point but a double fault takes it back to deuce.

    Wozniacki 3-6 1-5 Konta*

Brilliant from Konta. Absolutely brilliant. Wozniacki sends her serve wide and Konta shimmies across, unfurls the forehand and beats her.

Woznaciki's leaping around like a gazelle and finally gets back into the middle of the court, Konta overhitting and allowing Wozniacki to get on the board. She draws Konta into two rallies and holds her serve with some clever hitting.

The way Konta sets up for that final forehand, it's really tough to tell where it's going. Her preparation is so good and it's freezing Wozniacki. It looks like Wozniacki isn't moving but she doesn't really know where to go.

    *Wozniacki 3-6 0-5 Konta

A sterling shot from Wozniacki, meeting the ball low in the shadows of the court, gives her a brief respite before two huge aces go flying past her once again. Brilliant from Konta.

Wozniacki moves her feet, winning the point at the net and claws her way back in as Konta overhits that big volley again! She glances up at the box and gets a look from coach Wim Fissette.

An ace gives her the advantage, despite a review from Wozniacki, before a superb forehand winner keeps Wozniacki rooted to the spot. Officially a rout now.

    Wozniacki 3-6 0-4 Konta*

A real contrast in body language, Konta bouncing around while Wozniacki takes a deep breath before serving.

Up to the net comes Konta again, volleying back and Wozniacki is nowhere near. It's getting to Wozniacki's serve now, which is loose and Konta can hammer it back for an easy point.

She doesn't give up, all that anger going into a cross court forehand, but Konta takes the second break point.

  13. Postpublished at 05:48 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    *Wozniacki 3-6 0-3 Konta

Wozniacki is not happy. She needs to meet aggression with aggression.

Konta's response is superb though. She goes cross court with back-to-back forehands, plenty of fizz on them to beat Wozniacki.

Konta double faults but she cranks up the pace and Wozniacki's return drifts long. Konta bounces into the air as Wozniacki stomps back to her seat.

  14. Konta breaks Wozniackipublished at 05:44 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Wozniacki 3-6 0-2 Konta*

Wozniacki's placement is bang on as she backhands into the corner, beyond a diving Konta's reach.

She slips up on her second serve though, double faulting before a backhand goes well out of reach. Two break points for Konta, and another double fault! Konta gets the break.

A yell from Konta as she hammers down her serve, and Wozniacki messes up the return forehand. She looks furious with herself and gives her racquet a look of disgust as she mutters away to herself.

Another powerful serve comes Wozniacki's way and she can only hit it wide in response.

  16. 'Konta is committed'published at 05:38 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Jill Craybas

Konta's so committed to her shots off the ground and she's coming into the net now with a lot more commitment. She always had the power but she's adding to it at the net.

  17. Postpublished at 05:37 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Wozniacki 3-6 Konta*

Some superb stuff in that, both players giving it plenty of welly. They're both strong on their serve and Konta looks the more comfortable of the two but Wozniacki's experience, and the form she's been in, will keep the Brit on her toes.

  18. Game and first setpublished at 05:36 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2017

    Wozniacki 3-6 Konta*

Ooft! Konta goes for the overhead again but she's backpedaling all the way and can't get the power onto it.

This game is swinging both ways, Konta hammering a forehand winner before Wozniacki does the same.

A great retrieve from Wozniacki surprises Konta but she's already at the net, getting the point with a backhand volley before Wozniacki lobs - and lobs long! First set to Konta.

Konta is adamant that she never looks ahead in the draw but Serena Williams is a possible quarter-final opponent. I would love to see that, I think Konta deserves a crack at the number one. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

    *Wozniacki 3-5 Konta

Wozniacki takes a moment to tie her shoelaces and collect her thoughts, but another forehand smash goes Konta's way, angled away from her opponent.

A big, banged in serve goes Konta's way before Wozniacki tries a little backhand waft that doesn't get over the net. She swings her racquet in annoyance.
