Even Roger Federer can barely believe he's already won three titles this year, judging by this cracking image.

Not just any old three titles either. Only a Grand Slam and two ATP 1000s. Magnificent.

The Federer fairytale continues as we leave the hard courts and head into the clay season.

Perhaps we might see a Roger-style revival from the 'King of Clay'...

Thanks for tuning in - see you again soon!

Now then, I know only three words in Italian and two of those are pizza and pasta..

A popular online translation tool tells us though that Fognini is quite relieved he lost to Nadal in the semi-final so he didn't have to come up against that performance from Roger.

Roger Federer speaking on court after his Miami Open victory:  "Congratulations to you too Rafa on your great comeback to the tour.

"It was great match and this is where it all started for us back in 2004. I said to you after my lucky victory back then that you would win this title and I still believe you will one day win this title, you are too good to not win here.

"The dream continues. I had a fantastic couple of weeks in Indian Wells and I've been coming here since 1988 when I became the world number one junior. It really is a beautiful stop on the tour.

"What a start to the year, I can't believe it. Thanks to everyone who has supported me this year and in the difficult times last year."

Roger Federer's victory means he has racked up 19 ATP Tour wins so far in 2017, a figure which no-one else has topped.

One man has matched that tally, however...Rafa Nadal. But Federer has only lost one match compared to Rafa's five, and of course has three more titles to go in his trophy cabinet.

    ATP Tour wins this year:

    Roger Federer 19

    Rafa Nadal 19

    Jack Sock 18

    Grigor Dimitrov 17

    Jo-Wilfried Tsonga 17

Time for Roger Federer to take over the mic. A typically-statesmanlike speech from the 35-year-old, who starts off by congratulating Rafa Nadal on a "great comeback of his own".

Respect and class just oozes out of these two gents.

Presentation time. Rafa has had a good glug of water, mopped his soaking forehand and redressed himself after whipping off his shirt.

Nadal is as gracious as ever, heaping praise on his great rival and labelling the Swiss' comeback as one of the "greatest ever".

Naveed Afzal : Federer wins in straight sets. That was rather tame by Rafa. He makes so many unforced and poor errors these days.

Nadeem Beebeejuan : And the GOAT showing no sign of slowing down..! Congrats Federer on 3rd title of the year.

Federer was finished, some said. Well they look a bit stupid. After missing the last six months of 2016, he has returned almost better than ever.

The Swiss maestro has won 19 of his 20 matches this year, scooping up the Aussie Open, Indian Wells and now Miami titles.

Federer shrieks with pure pleasure after the winning point, looking almost tempted to drop to the purple acrylic. He thinks better of that, possibly fearing injury, leaping back into the air instead. He turns to his box, where Mrs Federer is whooping with delight, double fist-pumping.

No problems this time! Roger Federer wins the Miami Open as Rafa Nadal goes long on match point.

That's only his THIRD title of 2017. At the age of 35.

What. A. Freak. (In the nicest possible sense.)

    *Federer 6-3 5-4 Nadal

just like the first set, Roger Federer strikes at the best possible time. Or worst possible time if you're Rafa Nadal.

And he does it with a huge slice of luck (and no little skill).

Federer tees up break point - his third of the second set - when a backhand takes a big chunk of the net and leaves Nadal scrabbling.

An inch-perfect lob can't be retrieved by Nadal and Federer has the break.
