    Well, that was some finish to the 2018 women's Australian Open.

    Caroline Wozniacki takes her first Grand Slam title, and with it the world number one spot.

    It's a case of deja vu on Sunday.

    The men's singles final will be contested by Roger Federer and Marin Cilic - a repeat of Wimbledon.

    It was world number two Roger Federer who came out on top at SW19 against a blister-hit Cilic.

    The Swiss is defending his Australian Open title and looking for the 20th Grand Slam of his career.

    Croat Cilic is into the Melbourne final for the first time and is hoping to send his four-year wait for a second major trophy.

    Halep has had the tougher matches and in the end a slightly fresher Wozniacki managed to scramble more balls back to get over the line.

    She's a very good defensive player who has a very good weapon in her backhand and she also has a great set of wheels and is a tough competitor.
