    Kasatkina 3-6 4-5 Kerber*

Kerber serving for a place in the semi-finals...

    Surely she won't flinch again.

Drop shot from Kasatkina, drop shot back from Kerber into the net.

    Not good. 0-30.

  3. Tie-breakpublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    Del Potro 7-6 (7-1) 7-6 (7-5) 5-7 6-6 (4-4) Simon

Third tie-break of the match and the players are tied at 4-4 but Gilles Simon is looking the more confident.

He broke early and although DelPo has broken back, we might be heading to a fifth set.

  4. Kerber breakspublished at 14:19 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    Kasatkina 3-6 4-5 Kerber*

Angelique Kerber waves her fist. Once again she breaks straight back. Daria Kasatkina's inexperience shows again.

  5. Simon's subtletiespublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    *Del Potro 7-6 (7-1) 7-6 (7-5) 5-7 6-6 Simon

    Mark Petchey
    BBC Sport tennis commentator

Some superb execution by Simon. He probably feels like he can walk on water right now.

I think the stats show that the player who wins sets one and two and loses the next two struggles in the fifth.

You have to wonder whether Del Potro can get back into a place where he can get a good finishing shot. Simon's subtleties on the court do get lost in the era of power and spin.

And we are heading for a tie-break.

  6. Tie-breakpublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    *Del Potro 7-6 (7-1) 7-6 (7-5) 5-7 6-6 Simon

It's tie-break time on court two. Four big first serves from DelPo to force the breaker. If the Argentine wins it he is through.

The sight of the finish line and Kerber is tensing up. Kasatkina deserves a lot of credit

  8. Cibulkova breaks but can't holdpublished at 14:15 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    Cibulkova 5-7 2-3 *Ostapenko

Dominika Cibulkova roared with delight after breaking serve. She managed it twice in the first set but still ended up falling behind.

Jelena Ostapenko went straight ahead again in the second but Cibulkova fought back to break serve. But once again, she fails to hold and Ostapenko regains the lead.

    *Kasatkina 3-6 4-4 Kerber

    Finally!

Kasatkina breaks back. We're back on serve. This isn't done yet.

Kerber blinked in sight of the finish line there.

    Kasatkina 3-6 3-4 Kerber*

Kasatkina is crouched over at the side of the court. She can't believe she's missed that! Back to deuce.

Oh that's good. A delightful drop shot from Kasatkina.

A third break point of the game.

    Kasatkina 3-6 3-4 Kerber*

One break point saved from Kasatkina but then a painfully slow second serve from Kerber at 67mph isn't going to trouble the Russian.

    Here's another break point.

Dave Morris: Actually, I'd kind of love it to be Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo on a Friday afternoon some time. Rather than moving the Wittertainment show for the tennis just include the tennis in their show, and do film reviews while waiting for Nadal to serve!

    Kasatkina 3-6 3-4 Kerber*

Daria Kasatkina has a bead of sweat running down her cheek as she has a drink at the change of ends but is still quickly up out of her chair for the next game.

    Is Kerber getting tight?

She has two points to move to a game from the match but hits a couple of routine forehands long.

Kasatkina now has a break point.

  14. Ostapenko breakspublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    Cibulkova 5-7 1-2 *Ostapenko

Jelena Ostapenko is reading the second serve so well and has her fourth break of the match - her first of the second set.

Dominika Cibulkova is growing more and more frustrated. She plays better when she's pumped.

  15. Super Simonpublished at 14:08 British Summer Time 10 July 2018

    Del Potro 7-6 (7-1) 7-6 (7-5) 5-7 5-5 Simon

Simon works really hard to save four match points as Del Potro starts to look a bit more tentative.

The Frenchman is not making it easy for him and when he gets his fourth break point chance he deals brilliantly with the Del Potro serve to level up the set.

Best game of the match so far.

    Kasatkina 3-6 3-4 Kerber*

    Tracy Austin

Sustainability is what Kasatkina needs. She is getting there gradually but you can see the inexperience is showing in stages.

Kerber has been a wall not only in her game but emotionally as well.

    Kasatkina 3-6 3-4 Kerber*

The first break point is saved by Daria Kasatkina but she can't deny Angelique Kerber on the second. Just like in the first set, Kerber breaks straight back just after Kasatkina had done the same to draw level.

A sixth double fault from Daria Kasatkina. Her head rocks back and she looks to the skies in disappointment.

    15-30.

    Crucial moments.

    John McEnroe

I would tell Kasatkina to use this crowd. They want a longer match, they wan to be entertained and they like what they have seen from her.

If she can use that she can get in Kerber's head a little bit.
