    Oh dear...

A medical time-out has just been called too. Maybe it's more than a knee-strapping job?

The trainer is out again. Looks like Nadal's tape around his knee was strapped on too tightly. He's getting it re-done now, along with a little massage.

James M: Del Potro will win the tournament. Been the best player so far by a mile. Djokovic has played mediocre opponents so far and has struggled to cope with the humidity at times.

    Nadal 6-7 (3-7) 0-0 Del Potro*

The second set kicks off in the exact same manner as the first. A long rally ends in a backhand winner from Del Potro to go 30-0 up.

But Nadal returns a 112 mph serve with even more pace to close in on 40-30. And he draws up another deuce immediately afterwards.

I am pumped. That first set was quite a set of tennis.

Del Potro kind of choked then pulled it out to take it.

The crowd is really loud and into it. There's great energy out there.

I think Nadal deserved the first set but Delpo got it. It's still 50-50.

Longest rally of that opening set? 22 shots.

The players are getting up off their seats now. Here we go then.

One hour and 11 minutes was the length of that first set. That is five minutes longer than Serena Williams' semi-final victory over Anastasija Sevastova yesterday...

What tremendous resilience from Juan Martin del Potro. You could see the frustration when he failed to serve it out but he got right back to it.
