    Djokovic v Zverev

Alexander Zverev is already being tipped as a future number one and it's easy to see why as he swept aside Roger Federer in his semi-final victory.

He triumphed 7-5 7-6 (7-5) in a pulsating encounter which ended in a strange manner as he was booed during his post-match speech on court.

With three Masters titles to his name, the young German has yet to make his mark on the Grand Slams - although his French Open quarter-final this year was a breakthrough.

But now he will get the chance to win the season-ending title, which is second only to the Slams in terms of prestige.

And he is bidding to become the oldest winner in tournament history, at 31 years, five months.

The world number one is the favourite after beating Zverev 6-4 6-1 in the group stages of the competiton.

Djokovic won 73% of first serve points and denied both break opportunities earned by the German in that group game victory.

And after winning Wimbledon and the US Open in the final five months of the season, Djokovic is on cloud nine.
