Umpire James Keothovang is on the phone - Tsitsipas has asked for the trainer at the next change of ends "for his legs."

It's 30-15 as Federer misses a forehand out wide, under pressure from an approaching Tsitsipas, but the Greek works a forehand over and out.

A huge return from Tsitsipas, but Federer has a chance to pass him - and he misses! 40-30.

Tsitsipas whacks a second serve into Federer's backhand and the Swiss can do nothing with it.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is well on top, surprising Roger Federer with a push down the line before whizzing a crushing forehand through his defences.

Every time Federer gets in front, he lets fly with a loose shot. A backhand into the net takes us to deuce.

    OH!

Outrageous defence from Stefanos Tsitsipas up at the net, blocking every shot Federer throws at him as he tries to pass, and he yells in celebration as he whips a backhand across Federer.

Federer is on the board as Tsitsipas dumps a forehand into teh net but that's a stunning ace from Tsitsipas for 40-15.

    Shank from Federer. Game, Tsitsipas!

As we told you earlier, Stefanos Tsitsipas used to watch YouTube videos of Roger Federer in a bid to learn his trade.

His eyes were glued to one match in particular... a young Federer's victory over Pete Sampras at Wimbledon in 2001.

That match is often cited as the one which signalled the 'changing of the guard'.

Could we be seeing another one of those moments tonight?

Mirka Federer looks borderline disgusted as Federer flaps an easy volley into the net to go 15-30 down.

Stefanos Tsitsipas is unlucky as he snaps at a forehand and hoicks the ball just over the tramlines, and he's got Federer beaten with a cross-court forehand before he pushes it long.

40-30 - and he holds as Tsitsipas pushes a drop shot return just over the baseline!

Look at the spring in the step of Tsitsipas now. He's standing tall and looks fresh and bubbly.

The Greek's level has been so good tonight. He holds to love first up.

An overworked forehand from Federer flies out of bounds and then a whip down the line is called out!

Federer challenges - and it is out! Two set points to Tsitsipas.

Federer shouts something that it's too early for me to repeat as he makes a mess of another forehand for 15-0.

In fact, it's four misses in a row on the forehand for Federer, and he's going to serve to try and force a tie break.
