It is a good day to be a Czech tennis fan... and even better if you get to see Karolina Pliskova fight back and set up a meeting with Petra Kvitova.
Partners Milan Docina and Romana Cakovea arrived from their hometown near Prague last week in their specially-made 'Czech Fan' t-shirts, which have images of Pliskova and Kvitova plastered over the back.
"We never expected to see two Czechs in the semi-finals," Milan says. "So we managed to buy tickets yesterday to make sure we could watch the matches.
"We planned the trip here six months ago and Romana got the t-shirts made and gave me it for Christmas.
"Of course we want to see both players in the final but we would want Petra to win it. Definitely. We are big fans of her, we want her to become world number one and, after the stabbing, the whole country would be happy if she won."
