And Pablo Cuevas breaks at the first opportunity. Not the best of starts for Kyle Edmund.
Cuevas 1-0 Edmund*
Pablo Cuevas looks to be the player who has settled into this game first. He's making Edmund work and loops the ball back into the court.
The Uruguayan has an earlier break point.

Not an empty seat inside court six, one of the tight outside courts, packed in-between Chatrier and Lenglen at Roland Garros.
Those who didn't arrive early enough are having to queue outside. British players always have plenty of support in Paris, as too does Uruguayan Cuevas today.
Cuevas 1-0 Edmund*
It's a low-key first game. Both men dump an error into the net. Cuevas' single-handed backhand is a thing of beauty mind.

Kyle Edmund's confidence will be up after the way he played against Chardy. Cuevas is dangerous because he is a great clay court player. It will be a tough match and Kyle will have to play extremely well but I think it is a good match-up for him.
Edmund is in the same outfit today. Pablo Cuevas is in a much more conservative blue shirt with white stripe.

It hasn't just been Kyle Edmund's forehands and serves that have been talked about this week.
His errrr... interesting kit has been caused quite a commotion.
His has asked about it in his press conference...
"You get what you're given with Nike," said Edmund.
"So there's actually a story behind it rather than they just decide to come up with it. So there's a reason to do with the French Revolution, I was told.
" "I'm sure if you said I would like to wear something else and I don't want to play in this, they would accommodate.
"But, you know, I've played in pink kits and bright yellow kits, so this one was not too bad.
"I wouldn't personally pick flowers if I had to do."
Azarenka, meanwhile, defeated former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko in the first round in Paris, in a match full of twists and turns.
The world number 43 won 6-4 7-6 (7-4) and said facing Osaka in the second round would be "exciting".
These two have faced each other just twice before, with one win apiece. Their last meeting was on the clay of Rome last year - Osaka winning on that occasion.
Over on Suzanne-Lenglen, world number one Naomi Osaka takes on two-time Grand Slam champion Victoria Azarenka.
Osaka's campaign at Roland Garros got off to a shaky start when she went 6-0 down in the first set against Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, but the Australian Open champion edged her way back into the match to prevail 0-6 7-6 (7-4) 6-1.
She'll be hoping for a more convincing performance today.
