What a great match to watch that was and a big win for Osaka.

She was not at her best, the same as in the first round, and she was playing a great opponent in Victoria Azarenka, the former world number one, but a terrific win for Osaka to go through to the last 32.

Blimey. Naomi Osaka puts a second serve right onto the line to fight off the break point. Azarenka can't believe it and wants a closer look but the resigned look on her face tells the story.

    Deuce.

Osaka gets to 30-0 but then Azarenka fights back to win the next two points.

There's a little bit of fear in the latest Osaka screech.

Victoria Azarenka still believes. She arrows a backhand down the line and even a player of the world number one's speed can't get there.

Over to you, Naomi. Can she serve this out at the second attempt?

Azarenka has to take some confidence, it's been such a tough draw for her - first up Ostapenko then Osaka.
