This is fantastic stuff. Some insane court coverage from both players but somehow Djokovic pulls out a winner after chasing down a ball that would appear a lost cause to many.

It's an important point too, as Djokovic turns the game in his favour to hold. A huge roar from the world number one.

Berrettini is doing a very good job in this match - but is it good enough, because he is up against the ultimate in men's tennis?

That is sublime. Novak Djokovic thinks he's done enough with a tricky drop shot, but Matteo Berrettini sprints forward and claims the point with an angled winner.

Pressure for the world number one to handle here at 15-30.

Berrettini's looking to build that scoreboard pressure, in the past three sets he has been behind.

Berrettini eases to 30-0 but some Djokovic slice catches him flat-footed.

That's delightful though! Berrettini dinks a drop shot over and Djokovic gives up the chase almost immediately.

Djokovic gets within one point, but it's a relatively problem-free hold for the Italian.

Berrettini needs to force a breakthrough at some stage, but it's not happening here.

Djokovic misses at the net but sees out a straightforward service game to bring us level at 2-2.

Now, can Berrettini trouble the Djokovic serve?

The Italian nets to hand over a 30-0 lead and he has no response to a whipped forehand from the world number one, who closes in on a comfortable hold.

Berrettini takes charge from there, though, a couple of big hits setting up a winner for 40-15 before an ace seals the deal. Nicely done.
