Maria decides to attack things head on instead, pinning Jabeur in the corner with powerful shots and forcing an error to bring up deuce.

The world number two and five-time Grand Slam singles champion clinches his third match point, but first on his serve, to win 6-2 3-6 6-4.
He'll face Gustavo Fernandez or Frenchman Nicolas Peifer for a place in the final.
