Into the last eight we go...published at 15:27 British Summer Time 31 May 2022
The quarter-finals are upon us folks. Things are getting serious.
You may very well have heard some fuss about the night match at the French Open this evening. With a total of 41 Grand Slam titles between them, record 13-time Roland Garros champion Rafael Nadal and men's world number one Novak Djokovic are going to meet under the lights on Court Philippe Chatrier tonight. Frankly, it's impossible not to get excited about that.
But there's another intriguing men's quarter-final to come before that on the main stage at Roland Garros, and it's another which is bursting with potential. Ridiculously talented teenager Carlos Alcaraz, the youngest French Open quarter-finalist since Djokovic in 2006, continues his bid for glory as he takes on third seed Alexander Zverev - who still awaits his maiden major triumph.
Get comfortable. We could be in this for the long haul.
