I’ve seen more subdued celebrations on Centre Court after title-winning victories.
The roar of those jumping to their feet was like Alcaraz had won the thing.
British and Spanish royalty are also present at Centre Court.
Catherine, the Princess of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales, Prince George of Wales and Prince William, the Prince of Wales are front and centre in the royal box.
Spain's King Felipe VI is also here, hoping to witness Carlos Alcaraz become the third Spanish player to win the men’s singles title after Manuel Santana and Rafael Nadal.
