    American Frances Tiafoe has come through in four sets against world number 39 Borna Coric.

    The 17th seed needed three hours and 27 minutes to beat the Croatian 6-3 7-6 (9-7) 2-6 6-3 to reach round two.

    Ella Seidel needs to get her footing and get her rhythm. She might see a slight opportunity eventually but she can't get dejected this early on.

    She has to show a higher-ranked opponent, especially a defending champion, that you're here to fight, you're here to contend and you're not scared of the moment.
