Image source, Getty ImagesSweden-Japan in the women's ice hockey was supposed to be a mismatch but it is turning into a bit of a nail-biter. Sweden lead 1-0 and we're into the third and final period.
The slopestyle commentary is hilariously un-BBC. Everyone is "stoked" and "pumped" all the time and a good run is either "rad" or "awesome". Sarka Pancochova from the Czech Republic surges into first place with a totally out there 86.25.
Here are a few tips on snowboarding if you want to know more about this crazy sport.
Silje Norendal of Norway lays down a marker with 49.50. Now it's Jones. It's a tad cautious perhaps but there are no obvious mistakes. A solid 73.00 from her opening run to take the (very) early lead.

GB slopestyler Aimee Fuller, who has joined the BBC commentary team for the final: "The course is in the best condition it has been in all week. It is big, it is fast so it will be a an exciting final. Anything can happen.
"It is the Olympics, the biggest show in the world and the biggest slopestyle contest in history. Rip the lid off and go for it!"

The Rosa Khutor Extreme Park is packed with screaming fans for the women's slopestyle final. Jenny Jones has spent almost 15 years as a leading pro snowboarder, but this is the first time her event has been included at an Olympic Games. Jones won a World Cup silver medal earlier in the season but spent time out of action with concussion at the end of 2013.
Bode Miller has been reflecting on the disappointment of finishing eighth in the men's downhill:
"I feel disappointed. I skied hard and well, and that's the most important thing. It just didn't go all right," said Miller, racing in his record fifth Olympics.
"It's tough, obviously I was looking to win and I thought I had a good chance of it. I was well prepared so it's tough when you don't get things to go your way.
"I'm not really sure what went wrong. The visibility is different today and that's the only disadvantage I had. But it's something I face all the time. If the visibility is really good I can ski my best; if it isn't, I can't."
From skis to snowboards and it's almost time for Jenny Jones in the final of the women's slopestyle. She will be the second rider on the course at just after 09:15 GMT.

Confirmation that Matthias Mayer wins the gold for Austria, his first ever major downhill victory, in a time of 2:06.23. Christof Innerhofer of Italy takes silver and Kjetil Jansrud of Norway the bronze.

A few minutes ago Matthias Mayer's Wikipedia entry was only two lines long. Now it's a bulging four paragraphs, ending with his Sochi 2014 Olympic downhill victory. And if you are wondering why they have called it before the event has actually finished, the fact that the latest skier to race - Kazakhstan's Dmitriy Koshkin - finished eight seconds off the pace might give you a clue.

"I laid all my cards down on the table and went for it but it didn't quite work out. I thought I'd go big or go home, it's the Olympics, the biggest contest on earth.
"I'm walking away happy and I've enjoyed my Olympic experience. I landed the double back flip but I put my hand down on landing and I had to miss the last jump."

"The atmosphere and anticipation is really building ahead of the first-ever women's snowboard slopestyle event.
"The live band is cranking up the volume and the crowds are filling the stands - but which nation will be celebrating in a couple of hours time?"
"The USA support for 2010 Olympic Halfpipe champion Jamie Anderson is huge."

Commenting on Matthias Mayer, who is currently in the gold medal position in the men's downhill skiing: "He started with a lovely high line with a heavy edge check his only mistake. He is an aggressive skier but so light on his skis, he looks very relaxed. He's a new breed of downhill skier. Physically he's not as stocky. He's only 23 and almost had no pressure, so just thought he'd take it on, and he was fantastic. His best finish before this was fifth so this is amazing. Austrians will be ecstatic if he wins.
Just to confirm that only a miracle could deny Austria's Matthias Mayer gold in the men's downhill with only much lower-ranked skiers still to run. It's a huge surprise, given that he had never had a podium finish in a downhill before.

Kjetil Jansrud - who will take the bronze for Norway - he's just a regular guy.

Sweden have taken the lead in their women's Group B match against Japan with a 12th minute goal from Jenni Asserholt. I wouldn't hold up much hope of a Japanese comeback. In their only other appearance at the Games, they lost all five matches, conceding 45 goals and scoring just twice.
