Britain's Dom Parsons ended the second skeleton training session of the day in fifth place.

They have one more practice session before Thursday's heats begin.

Parsons finished his first run today at the top of the leaderboard but said he struggled with a few corners on his next go.

"I made a couple of mistakes which I was disappointed about," said Parsons, who finished 10th in Sochi.

"But generally I'm finding the rhythm of the track quite well and I'm managing to get speed out of the sled.

"In training people are trying lots of different things so you can't read too much into it but when you're comparing yourself to the top 20 guys in the world then that's usually a good average."

As you would expect, the individual classic is the shortest cross country skiing on offer in Pyeongchang with the men competing over 1371m and the women 1176m.

First up, athletes set off over 15 second intervals in a time trial, with the fastest 30 progressing to the quarter-finals.

The quarter-final stage comprises five heats of six athletes, with the top two in each heat plus the two fastest third and fourth placed finishers advancing to the semi-finals.

The first two in each semi-final plus the fastest third and fourth placed finishers qualify for the final.

Great Britain's Andrew Young begins his third Winter Olympics at 9:19 GMT.

The women's final takes place at 12:25, with the men's at 12:34.

Rowan Cheshire's blooded and battered face became one of the major talking points of Sochi 2014 as the pre-Games medal contender crashed during a training run and missed the Olympics with concussion.

She suffered panic attacks and severe migraines after two subsequent concussions over the next 18 months but is finally back and nearing peak condition.

“I’m feeling really good and super excited to get back out there again, but obviously the nerves are going to kick in closer to the competition,” the halfpipe skier tells me.

“The last four years have been a whirlwind so making it here is amazing and to be able to show my county and family and everyone at home what I can do will be a dream.”

When you walk into the office this morning or catch up with your friends, they might ask if you're watching the race. Say no, and eyebrows will be raised. Say yes, and impress your peers.

There will be opinions, stats and tweets about it all over social media. Basically, it's highly likely that you'll come across Christie's name at some point during the Games - and who wants to be left out of the conversation?

If you're yet to catch "Olympic fever", we're warning you: today will be the day.
