    South Korea 7-5 Great Britain

Former Scottish curler on BBC TV

That's a nice drop! Very good shot there from Kyle Waddell. It will probably go back to cat and mouse again now.

    South Korea 7-5 Great Britain

"It's good, boys," says Kyle Waddell as he swirls a stone past the guard and plonks it on top of a Korean red to start the eighth end.

  3. 'Dug themselves out of a hole'published at 07:09 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    South Korea 7-5 Great Britain

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

Britain dug themselves out of a huge hole then. They have a lot of work to do still but they have given themselves a chance!

That could have gone horribly wrong but they had confidence to play it and confidence to secure it.

  4. 'Hopefully it spurs them on'published at 07:09 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    South Korea 7-5 Great Britain

    Logan Gray
Former Scottish curler on BBC TV

It's nice to see a big reaction from Britain as they got excited. That works for this team and hopefully it will spur them on in the last few ends.

If you want to watch the curling with your early morning coffee - and honestly, why wouldn't you? - then stick the telly over to BBC Two.

If ice hockey is your bag, then there's a stream of that right at the top of this page.

  6. GB battle backpublished at 07:06 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    South Korea 7-5 Great Britain

There's two tasty Korean stones that have taken up residence right in the centre of the house, with a GB stone nestled right on top of it.

Britain have the hammer and there's a long deliberation, before skip Kyle Smith whizzes down the final stone... oh, and what a shot that is! Red Korean stones go flying, and Britain snaffle themselves two points.

Atkin wins bronze for GBpublished at 07:04 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

If you're just joining us, then good news! Britain have got another medal.

Izzy Atkin, on her Olympic debut, has claimed women's ski slopestyle bronze.

It's Britain's first Olympic medal on skis, and means the Brits have won medals on snow at consecutive Winter Games.

  8. 'Need to be winning'published at 07:02 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    South Korea 7-3 Great Britain

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

You can argue Great Britain have played three of the toughest teams and they are certainly capable of beating the other teams.

Britain should be beating South Korea though. They need to be winning these games.

Roaring is a push. It's too early for me and one of my colleagues has cracked into a curry that I can still smell.

But still, onwards and upwards. Morning! Here's what's happened overnight...

Right, I'm out of here. Amy Lofthouse has come roaring into the seat opposite and will talk you through the remainder of the day.

    South Korea 7-3 Great Britain

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

Oh no! This has now become incredibly challenging. Britain are now four shots down. To make matters even worse, they will have the hammer in the seventh and the ninth.

Britain further behindpublished at 06:53 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    South Korea 7-3 Great Britain

Right now, Great Britain are getting a pasting from the weakest team in the competition. Kyle Smith's final stone cannons into the Korean guard, leaving the home side to pick up to more points. Rude words come from the British team. You can't help but feel that their Games are on the line right here.

    South Korea 5-3 Great Britain

    Steve Cram

We don't want to be in the papers for all the wrong reasons today... South Korea beating Great Britain in the curling.

Too many errors in shots at the moment - and in important ones.

    South Korea 5-3 Great Britain

    Logan Gray

Teams will try to make games really close. They won't take too many risks. They will try and take some easy shots to get some confidence going and it's working at the moment.

Deep into the sixth end and the South Koreans are sliding up the ice like a group of figure skaters. Their red stones surround the British yellow in the centre of the house.

"It was the same result as four years ago and I've just worked so hard. It doesn't feel good right now.

"I'm gutted. I've worked so hard for the last four years and got injured two months ago. It's going to hurt for a while I think."
