What a lovely photo! A very proud Atkin family pose with their daughter Izzy - the history maker!

Mum Winnie told me: “This is a wonderful feeling. Izzy is very reserved and quiet and just lets her skiing do the talking.

“I didn’t realise Britain had never won a ski medal at the Winter Olympics before. I’m glad I didn’t know that beforehand otherwise I would have worried even more!”

Brilliant from the Koreans! Britain's yellow nudged outside, keeping the red close enough to the centre of the house. At the halfway stage, Britain are two points behind the team bottom of the group.

Britain will do well not to concede two points here. Kyle Smith might have to bend the ice with his final stone to limit the damage.

Two stones apiece left, the skips left to do the business. Britain have three stones in the house, but are being aggravated by one red Korean brick. It's the Koreans that have the advantage of the final stone, too.

We're into the fifth end, almost the halfway point of this match. Collectively, Great Britain do not look particularly happy, sliding around the ice with a sense of dejection. South Korea, sporting some 1980s-style striped shirts, inspect the house can call for a timeout.

  8. Watch Atkin win bronzepublished at 06:18 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    Have you just woken up?

    There's one story in town.

Great Britain's Izzy Atkin has won bronze in the women's slopestyle, Britain's second medal of the Games and their first ever on skis.

You can watch her make a little bit of history right here...

  9. 'Speechless and stoked'published at 06:14 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

Skiing slopestyle bronze medalist Izzy Atkin told BBC Sport: "I'm just relieved. I'm really happy. I'm really excited and overwhelmed.

"There were tons of big names in the field, it could have been anyone's medal.

"I knew I'd skied the best I could and I was just waiting for the last girls to drop. My heart was racing and I couldn't believe it.

"I'm speechless and stoked to win the bronze."

The first end was all GB but since then it's been pretty even. Korea keep making extremely accurate shots that we didn't expect.

GB level it uppublished at 06:10 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

    South Korea 3-3 Great Britain

Great Britain pick up a point to level the match, but they would have wanted more from a fourth end in which they held the hammer. Kyle Smith's side are under pressure from the worst side in the competition.

Great Britain are really up against it. Korea didn't start well but responded well.

GB have already used a time-out. It's not the match it looked like it was going to be in the first end - it looked as though it was going to be GB's at a canter.

Korea are making a pest of themselves again in this fourth end, with three stones in point-scoring positions in the house. GB skip Kyle Smith looks at the bricks like a man who is aging in front of our eyes.

Remember, it's the top four teams in the 10-team group that reach the semi-finals.

GB were joint-second before this match began, but defeat here would leave them very little margin for error in the rest of the competition.

That's the first mistake from Great Britain. Korea have the steal and they will take the lead.

That's an error from GB skip Kyle Smith, who overcooks the final stone out of the house and leaves South Korea to pick up a point.

GB, with two wins and two losses from their first four matches, can't afford to lose this to a Korea team that have lost all four of their opening fixtures.
