In another cruel twist of Olympic fate, Elise Christie's boyfriend Shaolin Sandor Liu is swiped into the padded barriers.

He has to settle for fourth.

Oh, actually. He's been penalised. To the bottom of the pile he goes.

    Great Britain 1-2 South Korea

A quick glance at the curling now, and GB have the hammer in this fifth end.

There's a fair few Korean stones in the very centre of the ring, and Eve Muirhead might have to settle for one here. That's just drifted a little bit too far, though - Muirhead isn't impressed with herself - and Korea steal a point.

That was a great victory - a dominant victory - for Choi Minjeong. She is still only 19 years of age. This tops the lot, winning an Olympic gold medal in front of her home crowd.

Former British short track speed skater on BBC TV

The penalty was right but again, Elise Christie gave it her best shot. When the left hand came across, it caught the Chinese girl and then of course she then takes Christie with her as well.

Whether her ankle is broken or whether there is a cut - we don't know. We will have to wait and see.

  15. Postpublished at 12:10 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2018

Elise Christie has gone to hospital for a scan after that crash, although we don't know what for.

A reminder too that she had been given a penalty so, even were she healthy, she'd have been unable to compete in the final.

Chris Goldsmith: This skeleton fourth run is going to be crazy! One mistake and your going home without a medal. Let's hope one of the Brits can get a medal.

David Smith: Lizzy Yarnold two hundredths of a second off the gold medal in the skeleton. Nail-bitingly close.

Tom Young: C'mon Team GB girls!! Keep sliding smooth and fast Lizzy Yarnold and Laura Deas.

This is still potentially room for the top four to move around in this fourth run. I think this is going to be a really good ending as we see a lot of mistakes being made by the last set of sliders.
